If you love it and it felt 'right' do it. Is it on a monthly agreement? If it gets too costly, then you could always leave earlier.
It's as right as I can find something within the time limits.

It's not about the cost, it's the lack of freedom in a shared/rented place really ... and some other bits/bobs. e.g. couldn't make shiny things there as making shiny things requires a lot of space and makes some muck ... and can involve fire. No space for bike.... to go for a bike ride would involve a 2 mile round trip to collect it from store; not that I'm likely to be wanting to ride in this weather, but it removes the sponteneity potential. Not really feeling 'free' to randomly wander around/outside at 2-3am if I get restless.... people wandering around's a bit creepy for most people.

Sharing with OO, makes it harder.

But it's a nice spot ... and available.

For costs, it's "all in" pricewise, but I have to keep the store on. To have flown solo the rent alone would have cost me £50-100 more, then there'd have been the bills .... so works out more.

Have to see how it goes....

Rofl of course. The weak spot at the top of the wire they could ping out:rotfl:

Ha! I would have to go bra shopping before I went then, I have trouble keeping the wires in on my poor old bras as it is. Actually, just thought... It's the same side on my 2 current favourites that has gone. I wonder if that is more than a coincidence (25% chance if my maths is in better shape than the bras)?

Mrs chewy completely overloaded the washing machine, there were at least two loads in there, and the motor is burned out. No doubt you lot will tell me it was my fault somehow.

Yeah... you should have spotted it needed doing and done it.

My mum/dad used to religiously weigh out stuff when they got their first washing machine. Quite funny to see - both of them trying to hold up a pile of double sheets/bed linen atop a standard/basic plastic kitchen weighing scale.... http://images.esellerpro.com/2152/I/321/59/medscale30072486.jpg

Sorry for being around in small amounts. I'm currently in a state that I really don't feel well, but haven't been able to get to docs yet to find out what's wrong :(

    I'll be better soon :)

I am very non MSE on the architect as I left it all to OH who paid him out of his account. I think we are up to about £1500 for detailed plans, planning permission etc and just building controls to do now with a soil test and some other ground test.

We can't wait to do some of it but we need to get other quotes as the firm we wanted to use (who we know is good from other work) came in about 40% more than OH estimated. Snag is we know the work will be superb. Is that worth 40% more cost?

If you know the job will be done right, with no stress, then yes, they are worth it. Building works are so disruptive and when you're busy and stress-y then it might just be the straw that broke the camel's back.

Why were you not doing the washing? And are you getting used to her being mrs chewy yet?

(also, has she been hinting about a new washing machine for a while?

Oh no. Hope things get better soon.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Ok, so i am dressed, perfumed and body creamed. Because the mri nachine will care. I have applied what i think of as my 'invincable makeup', bright turquoise smudge lines under each eye, like war paint but not on my cheeks and deftly drawn on a pair of eyebrows. ( i don't have a complete set of my own). I brushed my teeth four times, so my fillings should look very well cared for.

I have stuffed a metal less bra/ crop top in my hand bag...and a spare pair of knickers, not sure why but seems a good plan.

The dogs have been walked, the cats have been cuddled.

    I am ready to go!
