Too big.. But we already have two in the garden and a few more young ones grown from conkers which we put in to our hedgerows.

I remember once, donkey's years ago ... probably 1971/72 ..... going out with my mum and an old neighbour (we'd moved) .... to beat the trunk of a tree.... just went the once. Something's nagging at the back of my head to say it was a walnut tree.0

Haha, this was recent somewhere else i think.
A woman, a dog and a walnut tree, the more you beat 'em the better they be.0 -
Everything aches and hurts.... my feet have blisters (bottom of the toes), the back of my heel has been rubbing, my calves/thighs ache... my back aches.
This walking lark's too much
I have no food .... and if I were chirpy I'd be off to get a takeaway.... can't even hobble as far as the car, never mind being able to get out and walk at the other end to collect a takeaway
I'm walking like I sh4t myself0 -
What a !!!! week it's been at work.
I may have to get particularly trollied tonight.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

DS back from interrailing.
They don't seem to have spent very much time on trains.
They visited museums on their travels, that quite impressed me.
I always though interrailing was meant to be cheap. They included a day at a Meridian hotel, a spa day and they hired a boat with skipper! As well as clubbing in Berlin and Havana (sp?)
They interrailed to Cuba????Brilliant planning! It's such a hassle getting work done and having to think everything through in advance. That's one place that Doozer scores, as she knows what she's doing.
I had a friend once who had been on an engineering job somewhere in the Gulf - UAE I think. The job had been to install plumbing, drains, sewerage etc, into a brand new large building (a college I think) that had been built without any sanitation whatsoever, before anybody considered that it might be needed. :rotfl:Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

Aye, it's weeks like this that make Old MacTavish wish he had a farm, instead of a stupidly stressful corporate job.
Ee I Ee I Ohhhhhhh, it's time for another drink already.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
