Yeah, sharing toothpaste is minging.... and toothbrushes need to be wrapped up... in fact, I'd keep it in my room in a plastic container.

We got a new to us tv! Its brilliant, its half the size of the other one.

Cannot decide what to do with the old one. Might keep it for the kitchen when its done.

We've just bought a 32" flat screen TV to replace our old 20". Unfortunately, I need subtitles on to watch quite a lot of US programmes, as otherwise I can't make out everything they say because of the accents. With the old TV it was hard to read the subtitles from across the room. Now, they are huge!

The old one has gone on Freecycle and is due to be picked up shortly. This week, I have given away : a bicycle, a very large Hulsta wall unit, and a TV. There's still lots to go, though.

I am not giving anything away .... I've got the least stuff of all the NPs :)

I am also not buying anything because I've nowhere to put it.... I actually bought a pastry cutter in the week (unused/£2.50 - it was on my list of things to try out) - and even that's gone into storage as I don't have the room for it ... and it's in a box about 4"x4"x1".

My osk is being cut down now. I have cried about it.

Now i need to chose a replace ment. I want to buy a mature small tree to fill the gap quickly really, but not sure if we will afford it.

Isn't there something rather nice about planting an oak sapling, though, knowing it will reach maturity in 100 years time? A real gift for future generations.

Bob Hope had a song about this. PN, I hope you're enjoying your return from the wild west to the civilised east. :D

Very much so; I planted three trees in a nature reserve back in the 80s when teaching on a horticulture course. Wonder how much they've grown in a quarter-century?

Toothpaste is personal ..... dunno if that's a "me" thing, or an aspie thing to be honest. But it's ..... not nice.

Well..it might get mature...ours did not! I am not planting an oak there, its still too close to the house. I just bought two juneberries of different varieties half price, and am considering a couple of others. I want a soft line of different but complimentary garden trees, not natives, that look naturalised rather than kept as specimen trees and that will grow tall enough for privacy but small enough to not kill our house! I will have a beautiful floral corner in front of that area in the future.

Dunno about anyone else but we share toothpaste unless we are using something particular for a reason.
