It wasn't the lawyers who wanted to end the call - we'd still be going now if they had their way. There were some extremely unimportant govt officials on there...

    Oh right.....that makes more sense.

Sink and dishwasher are both going to be on the island. :). Not a faff when there is a digger coming in to rip up the floor in any case:eek: not a significant extra faff.

It's not the water supply to the island that's the issue, but the drainage, as that needs to run underground at a suitable downward angle and then connect up with the existing drains, which may not be all that deep. I guess that's all been checked out with the builders, though?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

NP's can I please ask for your help? I have a concert to attend on Saturday evening in Islington. I was looking to drive in, but hear that the Olympic lanes are now in use and I;m concerned that the traffic will be dreadful. Trying to decide whether this is still best course of action or whether to go somewhere on the Northern Line and park up, take tube in.

My go to train lines are the Met and Jub, I don't really know the Northern Line. Any ideas?

All the signs I have seen say that the Olympic lanes are starting on 25 July. Is that wrong?

Yes. My car's filthy, and Masha (the one that tried to run my over) hasn't got a car atm.....

Insurance company are trying to claim it was her fault as she was on the phone....she's claiming not to be on the phone. The initial police report confirms her view, however she was side swiped by a van.....

    We'll see!

This is on your website, but it's kind of hard to play. ;)

Very easy to get mobile phone records to establish the truth.

Yes. We put the drainage run in to, so were able to ask for it to be deep for both this reason, to allow good fall to it, and also because we will level or lower the garden at some point.

Brilliant planning! It's such a hassle getting work done and having to think everything through in advance. That's one place that Doozer scores, as she knows what she's doing.

Cannot decide what to do with the old one. Might keep it for the kitchen when its done.

Hmm, still not quite there on paying the correct amount for my electricity despite reducing my weekly payment...another £200 rebate winging its way to me as we speak!

It's a blooming good savings account!

All quiet on the Western (well Eastern) front here, we appear to be going through a slightly more settled period at the moment....thank goodness! Although middle son has now insisted he has his own toothpaste because others will have touched the family one, is keeping his toothbrush in the wrapper away from the others and went slightly eek over some dirt he got on him yesterday despite him washing it off straight away..said he could still feel it.

Youngest is withdrawing slightly more from the normal world and normal socialisation but is at the same time, learning a wealth of new skills which could come in very handy when it comes to employment later on in life..so not sure if it is a good thing or bad thing!

But hey, at least I have had a small break from the panic phone calls the school makes......:rotfl:
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
