An observation: I can't believe how many repeat shops are everywhere here!!! I've seen another Frankie & Bennys, two more Marks and Spencers ... and a WAITROSE!!

I've also discovered there's a Tesco 1.5 miles one way and an Asda 2 miles the other way.

Really starting to get out and see what's out there.... and what I can see is: anything I could possibly want is simply out there.

Caveat: except, of course, affordable clothes in my size that fit me and suit me.

I think I want a posh phone.... so many services etc have an app. For the buses you can even stand at a bus stop and instantly find out how long the next bus will take! And a journey planner for the buses.... so handy apps.

    Welcome to civilisation :)

I shall miss round trip conversations. Should we continue them?

I need to find a hairdresser that doesn't charge £50-80 .... because I'm highly likely to be going out in about 10 days' time and can't look like the resident bag lady ... there'll be very very important people there.

Also need to have it done for potential job interviews I guess... as I am still at the optimistic stage of believing I'll be fought-over once my CV hits the local streets :)

    I look like a bag lady. :D

Shopping guilt starting to kick in. Will do some housework in penance and possibly have a G&T later to drown it.

I might have more round trip conversations..... I need to find a small village hairdressers that doesn't charge an arm/leg for what's really one hour's work, £2 of materials, and lots of waiting :)

I'm used to finding salons that charge £30 for what I want... even the college here wants £40 for a student to do it!

Must be some old git salon in a sleepy village within 20 miles....

    If I'm blond..... I found a hairdresser.... if I'm a brunette bag lady, I didn't.

    Fact :)

There's a Next here... my thoughts of Next (being unfamiliar with them) is: overpriced clothes for very slim people.
