I am also not used to towns on roadsigns to be so close. I am used to a town on a roadsign being small ... and 20 miles away, slow miles. Today I went to a town 7 miles away in one direction, yesterday I went to a huge town 4 miles away the other direction. Most unusual..... and there were big shopping areas with all sorts of stuff in between.

Even saw my first John Lewis for 15 years.

No point grabbing it if I've no home/kitchen :)

But once I have got somewhere.... I can go there. Although I found most Grabbits weren't of interest to me. I have few/small needs.... and most grabbits are bulk/family orientated.

    Not true!

Grabbits I've found in the last few days:

free ice cold coffee from Cafe Nero (O2 priority moments)
£10 Ebay voucher to send on anything in Home & Garden - no minimum spend.
£10 off when you spend £20 at the Body Shop.
Asda voucher for buying orange juice and Muller yoghurts

And I have had 2 takeaway pizzas and a £10 house of Fraser voucher for less than £4 (free pizza from zizzi with O2, the others were with money off for using one of my credit cards) :)

Thanks for reminding me about that Ebay voucher too silvercar!

Not sure what an ice cold coffe is, never seen a Cafe Nero. No idea what O2 priority moments means
£10 ebay voucher, without any strings, sounds good
£10 off... but you have to spend £20... I've never spent a penny in Body Shop
I don't buy orange juice or yoghurts.

    Money.

That cheap haircut you're looking for may be a big round trip back to where you were if where you are has 6 Waitrose stores!

My nearest Waitrose is a 5 minute walk.

More importantly, my nearest Home Bargains is hours away, in Southall.

Better change subject before PN gives me a CHAV ALERT!
