I am also not used to towns on roadsigns to be so close. I am used to a town on a roadsign being small ... and 20 miles away, slow miles. Today I went to a town 7 miles away in one direction, yesterday I went to a huge town 4 miles away the other direction. Most unusual..... and there were big shopping areas with all sorts of stuff in between.
Even saw my first John Lewis for 15 years.0 -
I jsut did a magical thing... randomly. Typed into maps.google the town name here, then chose "search nearby" and typed Waitrose... SIX!!! SIX!!!! Blimey.0

But once I have got somewhere.... I can go there. Although I found most Grabbits weren't of interest to me. I have few/small needs.... and most grabbits are bulk/family orientated.
Not true!
Grabbits I've found in the last few days:
free ice cold coffee from Cafe Nero (O2 priority moments)
£10 Ebay voucher to send on anything in Home & Garden - no minimum spend.
£10 off when you spend £20 at the Body Shop.
Asda voucher for buying orange juice and Muller yoghurtsPasturesNew wrote: »I jsut did a magical thing... randomly. Typed into maps.google the town name here, then chose "search nearby" and typed Waitrose... SIX!!! SIX!!!! Blimey.

Money.

My nearest Waitrose is a 5 minute walk.
More importantly, my nearest Home Bargains is hours away, in Southall.
