Oops, professional shopper pwned, I have at times had an egg credit card (in the days of the Pullman) but never realised I could have avoid paying quidco any money during that time - must have costme about 50 quid :(

Then again I stopped using quidco a few years ago as the tracking was so poor and they never did anything when you put in an inquiry- are they better now?

Seen him, its ok, just my brain, nothing serious, he is going to talk to old go (and he was nice and understood i was phobic ).

He was good i think. I was impressed they got here so fast. It helped seeing him with a cat opn my knee too. :). I have found a gp at last. He is doing my blood tests which are way overdue on tuesday.

I am so pleased about this.
Both for today and hopefully for the future.

Yes, well, funnily enough i was th king something smilar about you yesterday, emotionally.
But i am pleased, its something i needed to resolve and a small drama pushed me far enough at last. I also generally prefer male doctors, but last excellent one was a woman. The one who sent me in to a denial spiral on moving here was a woman too.

I am flicking through an indian cook book trying to decide what to make for supper tomorrow. The recipe given yesterday is scoring high on contenders, but i am really after a couple of veg curries. Its actually quite exciting seeing lots of these cook books. Dh topld me we have a few more boxes of cook books in the little attic that if we have time he will fetch for me at the weekend, :j

While, or when, you're able, find out about Patient Transport Services - specifically Volunteer Drivers. Round this way they pick you up and wait while you have an appointment (usually up to about 2 hours max) .... and they charge 40p/mile. You need to have the booking number to hand, so you've at least got the potential for other options for the next time.

Volunteer drivers are cheaper than a taxi, but you can't usually just get one on demand, of course.... but if you've not investigated the system and got the number to hand, then it won't be an option if you ever have to consider it.

And that's what Premier Taxis do for you ;)

Do you require a six seater, madam, so we can overinflate the price by 50%, oh yes, madam, that's £200 to get there for you, oh, I can do the full job for £500, madam, is that ok?

I don't do that, but I know it does on.

It'd be £100 (what I'm paying the driver) to get there, then 75% of meter rate afterwards :)

I'm great at dishing out advice, but not so great at taking it (even my own).
I think we have some similarities although obv the specifics are completely different... With the 't word' (ends in hesis) situation, I am acutely aware of my issues - perhaps too much so - and am aware of my irrationality, yet it's so very difficult to break through it. It's quite a strange feeling being aware yet also a bit of a passenger.

The other stuff does not stem so much from me- but is worthy of the relationships board/ eastenders. That I am trying not to ignore (but not dwell on). I feel like I was 'grown up' and dealt with things head on for quite a while, I've run out of steam.

Anyhoo... More recipe books?! The curry recipe from last night did sound pretty good :)

    I'm exactly the same.

Told a driver to leave the newbie alone this morning, then went into one when he rejected a job :o

Needless to say, I think he's going back round the corner!

What a night.... tried to get to sleep early(ish), got woken up by torrential rain on the tincan at 2am.... and ended up waking up at 4:45.... popped outside for a look, patio's under water.... and escape route's boggy. Just have to pack up in the next hour or so and see what happens.

We didn't have any rain yesterday...lots of clear blue sky here and hot hot hot. It clouded over about 8ish last night and I could smell rain but it never hit here.

Today looks a little grey outside but dry, hope it stays that way (or gets better) as we have the Olympic torch coming to the town this afternoon.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
