Bugga all on the telly tonight!!
Only had a sandwich and some crisps today.... when I came back it was too early to buy hot food ... and once back it's too much effort to go out again.... so, I am consoling myself with the fact that I will treat myself tomorrow night, or Friday night ... maybe.
All systems go for tomorrow..... and the good old Met Office have issued a severe weather warning for my entire route; a route that's not a good route even at the best of times.... if only I can get up and out pre-6am ... rather than oversleeping and rushing out at 9am....0 -
We now have little green ones, about 2cm wide.
I took the advice of JonnyBravo (I think) and am now overdosing the toms on all things fertilizing. Poured 5 bags of composted manure on the tomato patch before planting, regularly throw some chicken pellets on them and Tomorite to follow.
Mine are rubbish. Planted 6 weeks ago I think they have grown about 5cm...and against a nice south facing wall too.lostinrates wrote: »Seen him, its ok, just my brain, nothing serious, he is going to talk to old go (and he was nice and understood i was phobic ).
He was good i think. I was impressed they got here so fast. It helped seeing him with a cat opn my knee too.. I have found a gp at last. He is doing my blood tests which are way overdue on tuesday.

I have only returned to nag you to eat more fruit and raw veg PN. Where you going tomo?
That app thing...if you walked in and out of a shop 3 paces in then 3 out it would take 5 seconds .....so 60p per minute. If you did it for 30 mins that's £18. Do you have to check in and out on the phone and physically walk in or just be nearby?
I am not very app savvy.
The security guard could get a bit narky though.
 I saw Vivs wave and was going to respond and battery died on the laptop so a belated wave.0 -

No, its a bit cleverer than that.
You can only check-in, once checked-in you remain checked in all day. So max one opportunity per store per day. But a visit to a shopping centre may give you 30 opportunities to check-in in one shopping spree. Some stores give you offers as well as paying you to check-in.
I was just amused that you could drive buy and check in without leaving the dual-carriageway.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I don't think ours will grow without some sun.....I also planted a Capsicum which is now just a withered 2cm twig in a large pot.....
........can I be allowed to be a boring oldie and have a weather moan?
I mean, come on, it's so so grim and cold. I wore boots and a hideous puffy jacket today...I think it's rained every day since we came back from hols ...it's soooo depressing but I feel bad moaning about such a shallow thing.0 -

...I understand now...must have a satellite scan around the shops. Does it auto check in or do you have to do that on the 'phone?
I reckon you could drive up a High St and get several if that's the case.
On a marketing level I can't see people taking time out to visit a certain store to get the 5p so it must be a corp ' Thankyou' type of 5p.0 -

You have to check-in by clicking on the phone. I think the plan is to encourage you into their stores if you are nearby. Of course to detect you are in the store is difficult - especially as reception is often better outdoors - so you can get away with checking-in outside the store. Depending on location detection as far away as the other side of the main road.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
