By the way, one of my most productive macros ever was only a few lines. It let me use the same spreadsheet to make 600 complicated calculations for 600 clients and summarise the results, with 'the click of a button' as they say.
Public Sub DoAllCalcs()
For JJ = 1 To 600 ' Use 1 for first case, up to no. of cases
Sheets("Basic Info").Range("C1").Value = JJ
Sheets("ResultsList").Range("B" & JJ + 3).Value = Sheets("Summary").Range("C4")
Sheets("ResultsList").Range("C" & JJ + 3).Value = Sheets("Summary").Range("C25")
Next
End Sub
Neat. I assume that your "Summary" sheet calculates something based on the numbers in C1 of "Basic Info"??
PS Any NP needing help with an Excel macro are welcome to ask. I've done a lot with them and am always happy to help.Do any NP have any views on cat. bonds?
I haven't.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
Yay! Go Sue. You are a woman, as well as a mother.
Is there any chance of seeing a bit more of the old friend any time soon????
Possibly, he is into live bands and of course, middle son is in a rock band...so he may be popping along to their next gig.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Neat. I assume that your "Summary" sheet calculates something based on the numbers in C1 of "Basic Info"?? Yes. The data was kept in a flat file database, and read in for each person - indexed by the number in C1. Then lots and lots of calcs - about 50k cells.

On cat bonds, I was expecting a comment from LIR. I thought she'd be fond of them.I had a 1hr webinar on them this afternoon. Until then I hadn't much idea what they are. Sounds quite interesting. In case anyone is interested http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catastrophe_bond
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Can I just say what a total star this NP has been in coming to my aid. This included PMing me to answer my question in the middle of the night when he should have been asleep. An absolute gem and totally nice person.
Thanks! Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I don't think we'd dare in real life! And we'd all be too busy swooning (that is him in his avatar isn't it?)0
