As for scrubbing with a brush .... it doesn't happen. My clothes are NEVER that grubby that I'd need a brush or to scrub! Good lord, how filthy do you lot let your clothes get before you wash them?
I will admit to having scrubbed in the past, with shirts etc that have actual collars.... but I've not worn collars for a long time.
You seem to think it takes more than a few hours to get clothes dirty enough to need scrubbing if not being done in a machine. This is probably because you are thinking of the laundry of adults who don't play much sport.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

If your friends are so f**** amazing you can't bear to be without them when you're with me .... you can s0d off and sit with them.
Well you are right, both our husbands told us off!
But then again we were both dragged out separately to eat with friends of husbands' when we had little in common with the friends or their wives. So we would have been happy to be told to s0d off and sit with each other!I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Firstly thanks to all the NP who filled my inbox with useful info, I would thank you by PM but then my mailbox would be full again.
Which is a roundabout way of saying "M'lady I was made a little room for you"
FC we missed you, I was even worried you had been burned to the ground a few weeks ago
I guarantee its full of filth.0 -

Or have animals.
I am laid back about temporary kitchen arrangements, so long as i have my washing machine!0 -

I also find it rude when people visit one then proceed to half a text conversation with someone else. Business calls, calls from family possily, children definitely...but texts about stuff? Seems odd.0 -

the last bag was about £45 and leather but it's got a few stains and the clasp thing has fallen off. It was bought Dec 2010 so has only lasted 18 months (which annoys me).
New bag is also leather and should last a bit more. Should be ok then. I only have one bag for everything. I am not organised enough to have multiples.
I drive a petrol car but i get a stupid good mileage as I do a short town trip, loads on a fast A road and then a bit at the end. And I have a P reg 1.0l
more weeding today
My most expensive bag ( osprey, a gift ) was my least hard wearing, the straps look terible now, and i didn't carry it a lot at all. This one is ness and its really robust, but bright, would not suit every one. Tk max is good for bags, some are a bit, um.....well, if you used those shell bathroom tiles i might get, with pink, and gold......you'd like the other tk max hanbags.0
