OMG I won £200 today!!!!!!!!
I was buying a bottle of lemonade in the local shop and whilst at the till I decided to buy a scratch card (not a common thing for me) got home and did the deed and won £200 :j:j:j
I have decided to split it and put £100 to my debt repayment fund, taking that to £400 and the other £100 into our joint savings which we think will be for a puppy further down the line:D:D
I now officially have the monies to clear full my lowest debt in full, how great is that!!!!!!!!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

What a lovely post to read this morning
Congratulations Choc!
A £200 win for me would be a new fridge! lol Our fridge part of our fridge freezer seems to have decided it wants to be a freezer too and keeps freezing our food! lol
Such a fantastic feeling. Are you going to clear your lowest debt in full or save more to clear a higher one? xOrange Fairy

Thanks lovely. I'm not sure yet, I think I shall just keep on saving saving saving until I have a tidy lump sum and then dish it out, clearing the debts which help free up more money.
It's just super nice to know that I have it there to clear one if full. Logic says pay it off now but when have I ever done anything properly :rotfl:I think it's best to wait another couple of months and clear a larger one in full and in turn free up more monthly money which in turn I can throw at the smaller debts anyway. That's the plan
Lol at your fridge, it's got itself all confused :rotfl:0 -
Congratulations on the wedding
I got married in March (which seems ages ago!) and it's been lovely
I still get excited when I said "husband" :rotfl:
Well done on the win and getting below £25k too!Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Next stop 20k!!!0 -
Woo hoo it's Friday :j:j:j
Yesterday was supposed to be a NSD however the weather put stop to that as had to hire a ladder. During all the rain part of our guttering seems to have leaked. Hubby went up and cleared out/drained but eve last night it was doing the same - seems it can't cope with the torrential rain we're getting. Need to call someone out, more expense
Today is a long day at work, here until 6:30pm. However the positive is that hopefully i'll clear a lot of my worktray and start next week with less hanging over me. Already cleared emails that needed action.
Have friend coming around this evening for dinner and look at wedding picsWhich reminds me I need to call wedding photographer today and check something with her.
Other than that nothing exciting, quick spruce of house perhaps. I am working overtime both Sat and Sun :money: I will get to sub 20k asap, even if it kills me!!!

Great news on the overtime
make sure you make time for you to relax as well though

Thanks SF, I will make sure I finish early on one of the days (2pm ish) to ensure I have a good afternoon and evening of free time. It's hard to balance things when debt is the pressing thing on my mind
On another note, having a little read on Missymoo's diary and she has inspired me a little. She has been thinking about the life she wants and how she is going to get it etc - kinda given me a kick up backside (thank you missymoo :A) .....
I was firing on all cylinders months leading up to the wedding and feeling really good.....now not so and it's not to do with the wedding bit as most of you know I hated planning it (loved the day itself and what it meant) due to various factors, however it opened my eyes to what I could achieve once I put my mind to it. I don't want to go back to complacency (not sure that's spelt right!) - I want to go out there and get the best of life...........off I go to quietly contemplate things and life.......
