Can I change to Sky Broadband?

I'm slowly trying to work through my utilities/monthly accounts etc as part of my own personal saving diary for this year.
I currently pay £15.99 p/month for broadband with BT Internet. We have the lowest Sky package at £15 p/month (still in minimum contract period). Phone line and calls are through the Post Office after switching last year.
I've read through Martin's broadband article and it seems that Sky Broadband would be a good option.
I just wanted to check whether this would be considered a good move and also just to confirm that I don't need a BT line to switch to Sky as their site isn't that clear to me.
Would there be any benefit to switching back to BT anyway?

Yeah you should have no problems, Post Office calls go over BT's network at the moment so that should be fine0

you'll be ok with your line rental going via the Post Office0

I think that's for the full package including phone calls etc.I'm not too bothered about that as I'm only a very light user on the landline.
I'm still as confused as ever but thanks to all who have replied!I might give Sky a quick ring just to check.

Don't forget to use https://www.saynoto0870.com to get a freephone number for Sky!0 -
Free Phone number for Sky is 0800 051 2595
You must have BT land line for Sky Broadband and you must be on an exchange that has been unbundled to get the free/low cost packages.
Check if your exchange has been unbundled on the broadband resource
http://www.samknows.com/broadband/phoneno.php
When you have found your exchange check out the details for Easynet/Sky.That gum you like is coming back in style.0
