Quick question on how to organise favourites

Hi,
thanks for the offer, I'm more of a beer man, though I'll be on the guinness
on saturday for
I see I'm getting the regular Microsoft updates this morning, (second tuesday of month), so you were maybe due theIE7 update anyway, that's if you are on automatic updates.0 -
Glad you got it sorted!!! I don't know any way of windows doing it automatically, so I just re-organise every now and again. Atleast you know any new favs are at the bottom till you organise them, so they are not hard to find.
Well done Frugal & Madarin for getting there in the end.

Hi,
don't know if you saw my edit in post 30, about auto sort, haven't tried it, so don't know if it works, don't like messing with registry.
(don't tell me I've got too many don'ts in that sentence)0 -
Yeh I did - thanks. But your words highlighted in bold, below persuaded me to not do it![Deleted User] wrote:Hi, don't know if you saw my edit in post 30, about auto sort, haven't tried it, so don't know if it works, don't like messing with registry.
The puzzling thing is that my pc used to re-sort favs automatically by itself - then it stopped! Why? It's another one of life's mysteries! Anyway, I'll stick to manual re-sorting from now on! I'm still enjoying the fact that I can now access my favs easily via one list instead of having to search through 25 lists! I need to get out more![Deleted User] wrote:Edit: Found this, know nothing about it, try it if you wish but remember the dangers of messing about with the registry, maybe somebody could try it out first and report.
I hope you (all) enjoy St Patrick's Day - It's Mother's Day too, on Sunday, so I'm off away for a celebratory weekend - and I might have a glass or two of the old amber nectar myself!
