Hyundai I10 or Toyota Aygo/Pug 107/Citroen C1

The top price is £6000 so I think that counts out any new model cars! We've had a look at a Citroen C1 which we thought was too small. My sister is not a small lady!!! Then went to see a 2008 I10 which we were very impressed with. The dealer said he should have a 2010 model coming in next week at which point I became a moneysavingexpert and said i thought the 2008 model was OK (don't want him to think my sister is keen on the 2010 model which she is). She said she would think about it. She will go back next week when the newer one is on the forecourt - she goes past the dealer on the way to work. By this time we'd got too hot and didn't bother to look at the Aygo that was on our list.
Thanks for the help.0 -

I've owned an Aygo and inside it's exactly the same size and layout as the C1. So if the C1 is too small so will the Aygo and 107.
If you want to still consider Toyota the Yaris comes with the same engine as the Aygo, but is much more roomy and comfortable - it's what I traded my Aygo in for. You should easily get one for £6000 and under 3 years old.0 -
A 2 year old Corsa would easily fit in the price range and although it is a bit plastic with the trim inside, it beats the other cars hands down in every other department.
Well worth a look OP
In your opinion, IMO its a vauxhall, that says it all and it wont have a long warranty like the Hyundai and the Toyota, AFAIK the vauxhall lifetime warranty isnt transferable.0 -
Corsa = sorter warranty, higher insurance (lots of new drivers drive this car).Save £200 a month : [STRIKE]Oct[/STRIKE] Nov Dec Jan Feb Mar Apr0

I think it is just a Peugeot 107 / Citroën C1 built at the Toyota Peugeot Citroën factory in the Czech Republic?0 -
That's why I would go for the Citroen. Identical car, made on the same line, in the same factory, but there is a group who'll keep the Toyota prices high, because they like the name, and are happy to stump up more for no other good reason.
Might be on the same line but I have owned 2 Citroens, one from new, as well as Toyota and I know which I rate more;)"If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....
