Kitchen
1. Wipe down all worktops, cupboard doors, drawer fronts and windowsill.
2. Clean top of cooker, inside of fridge and microwave.
3. Clean sink, draining board and wash any plastic drainers/cutlery holders.
4. Sort out fridge make sure anything that needs using soon is at front
5. Clean washer drawer out
6. Clean kitchen window, light switches and light fitting
7. Clean oven if required, I know not everyone uses the oven a lot so leave that up to you
8. Wipe down all appliances, washer, freezer, slow cooker etc make sure all dust/grime free
9. Clean floor.
10. Wipe down skirting boards
Don't forget the daily/night time routines of course!
If you fancy an extra job, sort one kitchen cupboards/other storage area, what's lurking? Sort any out of date items if it's a food cupboard, make sure short dated items at the front.
Pack baby bag
Dress fitting with sister at 9:30am didn't bother - too depressed
Pick up baby food pot and spoon from sisters house
Make wedding invites

Done very little. I have spent most of the day playing with the baby, and looking through my old weight watchers books. I've ate really well and been good.and now feel better. Have just eaten dinner by myself as DH is working. I think i may make an attempt at doing some of the kitchen seems though there is nothing on the TV and i don't know when he'll be in.
Or, i could carry on looking through the diet books and plan my meals for the week.

2. Empty bin/anything that is rubbish from room. done
3. Dust any shelves, wipe top of toilet cistern, and the flusher (handle/cord) etc. done
4. Clean toilet, especially under the seat and around the hinges. done
5. Clean toilet floor. done
6. Clean door and handles on both sides done
Don't forget the daily/night time routines of course!

Quite pleased with what ive done today (also cleaned the bathroom and toilet upstairs) - have swept the kitchen floor (clean where i work everyday) but still havnt cleaned under the kitchen table, which is the job i hate most in the whole house!!!! Hopefully, i will get it done tomorrow.

Well I have achieved so much today (actually started a bit last night) although I haven't completed all the list. Seem to have got myself in a bit of a cleaning frenzy and noticing bits that need doing that would never have occurred to me before - like the little vents at the side of the microwave: so grubby! I attacked them with a cotton wool bud and felt very proud when all the grime had been wiped away. Took me about 20 minutes though!

In the kitchen I did ALOT today:
1.washed down shelves, including removing all items and wiping down . Big job as included lots of storage containers, glasses etc. Ran DW with some of the stuff not used very often
2.washed down the tiles
3.emptied the crockery cupboard, cleaned and replaced all items, wiping as I did so
4.cleaned out cutlery drawer

Also sorted out my (floor to ceiling height so quite alot in there!) cupboard - lots of old cosmetics etc thrown out and everything now clean, tidy and in its place.
Very pleased with my progress but no time to read the threads properly today

Was in the middle of writing a long email with lots of stuff to freecycle when the admin sends out an email saying some nigerian family in southampton are threatening and harassing people and calling them racist because they don't get given the items offered, and the police are involved!! Sent the email anyway.
