Hello everyone,
Ive been really lazy this week - downstairs is clean (have managed to keep on top of it all, somehow!!!) but havnt been near the bedrooms!!!! I may have a go later (normally do them on a Sunday) but because its mothers day, i may give it a miss and try and do it another time. I have stripped my bed tho, and im about to hang it all outside - no sign of rain yet, but im sure it will arrive in about half an hour, once my sheets are on the line!!!!!
Have a lovely Mothers day, take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
Morning everyone, and greetings for Mother's day!!
That means that except for cooking lunch (which I quite like doing) I can spend the day doing exactly what I want!! Mostly, that will mean something outside in the garden, maybe sowing some seeds in the greenhouse, as although it is bright and sunny, it's quite breezy and chilly.
DD arrives home from her trip to Cornwall at teatime - I've missed her so much - hope she won't be too tired and grouchy, but I don't think 14 year olds actually waste any time sleeping when they go away!
Speed flying on Monday, as it is my only free day this week. Quick blitz everywhere. I'm really seeing the benefit of all the hard work earlier this year now, as it doesn't really take me anywhere near as long.
Have a good week everyone.
pigpen You need a treat!!!It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
I am actually just demanding to be treated like a princess all the time by everyone and threatening to revolt if not lol.
It is amazing this week I have had flowres and sweets and you never know next week I may even get decorated in the bedroom.. the walls of course, contact sports are so out of the question!
Just had a surprise though.. a guy who we were at school with has just emailed me completely out of the blue!! I really liked him when we were at school and I know he was mates with hubby so I might be allowed to email him lol.
anyway.. I have spent 12 of the last 24 hours asleep so I may just need to go to bed for an hour! Someone else can load the dishwasher.

Morning all. Happy Mother's Day. Unfortunately usual service here, DP has naffed off for the day (won't be back until tomorrow) and got the usual to do. It's very windy here, I was going to take the boys out but I hate driving in wind like this so going to see if it calms down. Gave up putting washing on line after the 5th time of picking it back up when it was blown off. Have tidied the kitchen, cleaned all that down, done 3 loads of washing, sorted out a box of paperwork, put away 3 wash loads, sorted out some more of DSs drawers, sorted dogs out (been out, fed etc) about to make lunch, quite pleased with how much I've got done so far.
Anyway, hope you all have a nice day, I best get cracking or the kids will start eating each other. One day I might be more organised...........
