Don't know where the time is going. I didn't even turn on the PC yesterday

Basically, yesterday I took baby to playgroup, made a gorgeous curry for me and DH, and don't really know what else i did.

    Today:
    • took a carrier upstairs to use as a rubbish bag in bathroom
    • put all rubbish in bathroom in it
    • dealt with post
    • looked through baby puree recipes, picked out ones i want to do
    • wrote shopping list
    • went with DH to work to pick up his phone charger
    • then ended up waiting outside a place they rented something to that wasn't working, while he fixed it again.
    • went to Machine Mart to pick up a roller thingy for my dad
    • went to ASDA - did a huge food shop that will hopefully take us to the end of the month
    • remembered to buy flowers for my mum for tomorrow
    • remembered to buy things for a cooked breakie DH promised to make me for tomorrow (being really good on the WW today to allow for it ;) )
    • put all food shopping away
    • cleaned fridge out
    • cleaned pantry floor which was covered in bits of noodles
    • put the compost out
    • kitchen floor hoovered
    • kitchen sides wiped
    • cats fed
    • DH now looking at car brakes
    • I'm about to write my mum's card, then we are going over to her house to give her stuff, and take my dad his roller.
    • hopefully we can also collect next size clothes for baby from sis, including christening outfit that i want him to wear for my friends wedding.
    • then we are going to have a quick tea of riccota stuffed pasta and bought sauce (normally kept in the freezer for an emergency meal instead of takeaway, but both fridge and freezer are so full we will do it tonight.
    • i should also change baby bedding today, but that might get relegated to tomorrow.
    • baby bottles will need doing
    • i should organise too small baby clothes into a suitable container to put into the loft as the in-laws are visiting next weekend and i need to tidy the spare room. That will deal with one hotspot at least. Then get DH to put it into the loft tomorrow.
Gosh,it is a lot when you write it out like that isn't it. :D

i guess i will spend a lot of tomorrow cooking up purees and a roast dinner, but that is Ok as i like cooking. We also have to go to Meadowhell. We need to get a birthday pressie for FIL, and i want to buy the baby some things from BOOTS. If i go with DH that will probably be safest and stop me getting too carried away.

Hope you are all well. I want to try and ceck back in later, but we will see how i am getting on. Hours can just vanish at my parents house. Best take the baby's PJs just in case. ;)

Afternoon all. Just been getting some instructions off the Ikea help page. Was wanting table and chairs built today but there was no instructions, but they have just emailed me them. So hopefully get built on Monday when DP is back.

Done the shopping, traffic was a nightmare, I HATE Saturday shopping but DP had ran out of razor blades etc so had to go. I still need to put some f it away :o got back to find he haddn't done the table so lost temper and got straight onto that, so must go finish putting things away in a mo. Managed to get some washing done on the line, until I got sick of picking it back up when the wind picked up a bit, so going to use the airers, got a few more loads to do.

Right me for the rest of the weekend

    Laundry - 4 loads
Sort rest of wardrobes/drawers, swapping over & clearing out old for charity shop
Sort socks/undies basket - the job I hate!!!
Make biscuits, bread, muffins and cakes
    Plant some more herb seeds
Paperwork - sort through box I found
Take boys out somewhere Sunday depends what weather does as to where
Empty rubbish & junk out of car, DP been using it for work, it's a mess
    Clean upstairs windows
Sort through one box from under the bed (don't know what's in some of them)

Weather forecast is a bit uncertain for here, could be snow and if it is I'll be pleased I did the shopping. Won't see DP now until Monday so decided if he can't make the effort for Mother's Day (says I'm not his Mother so why should he) then I'll take the boys out anyway. Depends what weather turns out like of course as to if it'll be a nice walk in the park with a picnic or a play area somewhere tomorrow afternoon. Then will drive over to see my Mam on the evening.
One day I might be more organised...........

I cannot believe that you can do 'nothing' all week with 8 children!
You might percieve it as nothing, but to the rest of us what you do is considered a LOT!!

Glad to hear from you anyway!

    Becca

ps: don't you hate that sock pairing thing???

Sock pairing I usually delegate to the children but as they were already all over the floor.. well.. needs must! I did get to put the cardboard box in the bin though.. so I am really pleased with that.. it has been in the kitchen in the way full of socks since October!!! Another hotspot cooled!

I cooked food and washed the laundry that was literally all I did all week. Oh and a minimal amount of shopping.. I even bought bread so I didn't have to load the breadmaker.. oh, I loaded the dishwasher twice a day too. I did the school runs, all 11 this week, with the small creature too.

I drank copious amounts of tea, worked my way through 3 kitchen rolls.. don't you hate having a cold?!?! and slept!!!!

hubby is upstairs.. making mess.. putting the door on the boys room.. *sigh*

  • After being so knackered last night Iwent to town on the house today. Tidied, polished and hoovered lounge. Cleaned kitchen, cleaned floor, made bread, did 2 loads of wash. Cooked dinner and went shopping. Went to 3 different shops rather than ASDA and felt I got loads for my money. I have discovered farmfoods.!!!!!!!!! Cleaned hall and staircases. Tidied up bookcase. Gutted bathroom. Even cleaned the window sill corners with a toothbrush. Looks fab. Emptied my pot pourri tub and filled it with new bars of soap. Smells amazingly clean. Cleaned my bedroom until it is all shiny. DD will do her own room tomorrow and I will tackle DS's. Pray for me please. I may not come out alive!!!!xx

Goodluck MIT, I hate doing the boys rooms usually, but since moving them round 2 weeks ago they haven't had much of a chance to get bad. I am sure in a few weeks I will be kicking myself for speaking too soon.

Well I did sime but not all of what I had planned, business as usual for me tomorrow, just mad DPs sandwiches for him (I probably shouldn't as he's going out until Monday but did anyway) sorted some more of the wardrobe switch/fling. It's been a bit of a fashion parade, trying on things I forgot I had to see if they still fit etc, trying stuff on DS2, but getting there :D Will have to put th pile away that is on the bed next to me before I can go to sleep (method in my madness, put it on the bed and it makes me have to do it)

Best get those sun glasses on just incase, all these shiney things might hurt your eyes. Well beds just been cleared, can't sleep for the wind rattling everything inc my roof tiles which are jumping about, internet keeps going off, but the way the bt lines are moving not suprised, one shock is haven't had a power cut yet (touches head just incase) might do some more studying, that's bound to bore me to sleep.
