    Hello all I'm still here!
Been keeping up all week! lol Just not getting long enough to post!
Took DS to the hospital on Thursday as he's not talking and he's 2.5.. I've known there was something wrong for months and no one believed me! Well turns out he needs an operation for Grommets to be put in his ears. It'll mean he'll pick up talking afterwards but he starts Nursery in September and I'm worried! He's going to be the youngest there as it is as was born right at the end of August and because he can't talk to the otehr kids I think he'll be left out.

    Hiya bexbex
We had this problem with our daughter. I kept insisting there was a problem only to be told there wasn't. She had her grommets put in at 2 years 8 months and has never looked back. She picked up talking really quickly and we just bombarded her with works, we read to her, we talked to her, I took her to local mums and tots and to play at friends houses. She's 7 now and really bright so I can honestly say that for her it's not been a problem. Try not to beat yourself up about it and just do lots of word games and things with him once it's all sorted. Good luck with it all, when's he going to have his grommets put in? My daughter had adinoids taken out at the same time, she came round from the anesthetic and asked for pizza! xx

Thanks LJD1, I think it'll be hard seeing him have the anesthetic but hopefully it'll all be worth it. he's trying so hard to talk but it's all coming out like under water sounds! Sounds mad but he talks like what you can hear when you listen to someone when your head is under the water! lol
He makes sence to me know but I hope he won't find it too hard at nursery when all the other kids will be talking and he's not

Lovely weather here today. Stripped my bed and got that on the line together with another load of washing. Drying well.

Dusted and vacuumed bedrooms and landing.

I keep looking at my baking tins cupboard and wishing I had the energy to tidy it. I don't think there's anything to throw away, I went through it a few months ago, but I tend to get things out and then just shove them back in any old how and it's getting muddly.

Where is everyone? Hellooo, noticed forum was shut down this afternoon for maintenance.

Husband was off work today, not much flying done today, or this week to be honest, It is weird, I suffer from PMS and was in such a rotten mood this week, and I can't do anything right, I always seem busy but when I look around it still is a mess. But now I have come on I am full of beans and am raring to go, cleaning and organising, Strange but true....:o

Watching Comic Relief tonight and am planning to iron, so I am not too bored and get through this basket, WM on with uniforms etc.

I am freezing today. The wind is so icy..

    Tonight:

    Ironing
    Tidy kitchen
    put clothes away
    tidy coffee table

Most of my day has been taken up by laundry! I went to collect my parcel this morning and it turned out to be an ebay parcel of clothing for DD :j There's LOADS of it. So I set too on the washing, and load 6 has just finished  Not all of it was DD's new clothing, but there was about 3 loads worth of stuff just of hers:D I also managed to finish the ironing that was threatening to take over the livingroom. Now I just need to tackle the ironing from 4 loads of washing from today  There is no way OH will be able to manage some of it as it's ra-ra skirts, jeans with dimante detail, beads & sequins on tops etc and he just gets frustrated and leaves them for me. I'm planning on tackling them tomorrow ;) I think I might watch Harry Potter 2, 3 & possibly 4 while I do it as I have a feeling it will take me that long to get through it all :rotfl: It took Stepford Wives & most of Harry Potter 1 today!

Right, off to put this last load out on hangers to dry, then settle down with my bottle of Cava and pure orange  Night Night xxx

Evening all. Well I got the list done, not much else so far, even have some dailies still left to do, but did make some banana and chocolate muffins to use up some bananas which would have previously been flung!

Bexbex, I'm sure your little one be fine, fingers crossed the surgery works for him.

DS1 had a bad day at school so me and DPs time for us inc lunch out ended in being at the school for 1 1/2 hours. Situation not really resolved, but review meeting being organised, then me and DP had a talk about if it'll be better for us to apply for him a place at a special needs school. Can't decide what's for the best in all honesty.

Anyway, have to unfortunately do some things this weekend, was about to go shopping when the head teacher called so that needs doing, few odds and sods, kitchens a tad untidy but hope to get that done tonight. I think I should do a list for the weekend, unfortunately I think it may be a long one. Not that it matters much, DP has decided he's away all Sunday day att off road centre and night out with friends drinking, so guess I spend Mother's Day doing what I do every other day, being Mum.

Right anyway, going to go put some laundry away while the boys are settling down for the night, still sorting out drawers/wardrobes, but have managed to get a sack for charity shop today :D less to put away!

Oh and where is Pigpen??? Hope you're ok :)
One day I might be more organised...........
