Hi everyone, we've had one of those busy days where nothing is really achieved. Dh took girls to church this morning so I could see my sister (flying visit home), then onto MIL's for sunday lunch (very apppreciative- she gets to see DH and grandkids, I get not to cook!). This afternoon DH and DD1 went swimming and I took DD2 to the park. Both are now in bed asleep and I'm ready to collapse. Plan to clean the kitchen floor tonight but suspect I will get side-tracked. Am trying to get scrapbook of DD1's nursery days up to date, it's far more interesting than housework!0

Evening All
Tired Mum I agree with PP a trip to the CAB is in order I hope that its resolved quickly.
I've had a lovely day with DH and DD despite a couple of tantrums from DD. Had a roast chicken for dinner with Tapladies (I think) Choc Fudge pudding for dessert which is yummy. It makes me feel so proud when the family are appreciative of your efforts even DD ate the lot I know that I'm doing the best for them.
Everything is ready for tomorrow so I can relax now. Just had a bath and I'm going to watch 24 later with a large G&T then its work in the morning.Sorting my life out one day at a time0 -
Evening everyone,
Back from taking DS to the football, Plymouth lost, but really didnt deserve to - but all the fans cheered them off which was really nice. We got there early, as we wanted to make sure we had a parking space nearby, and as we were waiting near the shop, DS was able to get a load of autographs as the players arrived!!! Also got Mark Brights and to his delight Lee Dixons (an ex Arsenal player, his number 1 team) autographs (i think they were commentating) so although they lost, he went to bed with his signed programme, a very happy boy.
Going to attempt an early night tonight, im off to the doctors in the morning re my sleeping - im having trouble getting to sleep, and then im waking up almost every hour, even if i take sleeping tablets. Ive tried everything i can think off (milky drinks, warm baths etc) so need to see if there is anything else that might help.
Right, going to have a quick shifty on the comp board, while i finish my horlicks, and then to bed!
Have a lovely evening,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
Hi folks ,had a great day today,:D took the dogs and my DD and some of her tribe(three of the boys) up to the country park this afternoon, and we had a smashing time .The dogs love the freedom of the fields, and the boys did too.
The weather was glorious ,the sort of day that makes you glad to be alive with the sun shining and the kids haring around .Then home to a lovely dinner prepared by my super son-in-law of roast lamb and all the trimmings.:j
Bargain Rzl: I will happily beat my best friend to death if there was any chance of us picking up Brad Pitt. he's mine I tell you, ALL MINE :rotfl: :rotfl:

I know I spoil my grandkids to bits but I just love the bones off them .They are the light of my life and I would happily cut of both my arms for them. They are noisy, untidy ,and exhausting but I love all seven of them. When I see their faces light up when I walk in the door that is what family is all about. My youngest DD has five, and her and her husband don't have a great deal of money left over as you can imagine at the end of the month ,but their house is full of love ,laughter and noise.
If I could take you all with me to the U.S. I would:D
I shall miss you all whilst I'm away ,but look forward to seeing what you have all been up to when I come home again:beer:0 -
