Nope, other better podcatchers are available:j. For a quick comparison look here.

With my Creative Zen I use Ziepod, because I want to control what gets put on my player (given half a chance, iTunes will erase all of your music for no apparent reason ). Ziepod will put all new podcasts in one handy folder ready for me to drag and drop into my Zen.

If you want automatic syncing, gpodder will do the job. I must try this!
