I have an iPhone and an iPad so I have to use it. Is it this slow on a Mac?
What's even slower than iTunes is trying to run the 5.0.whatever on my iPhone 3GS! I wish I'd never bothered updating it!I don't like itunes, but as an owner of apple items, I have to use it. But you just don't let it abuse your music, don't use it as a music player, just sync, and update (if wifi updating doesn't really gel with you) and then close and forget till the next update notification.
You dont HAVE to use it. I use CopyTransManager to put music / podcasts etc onto my iphone / ipod.2014 running challenge 471.95 km / 1000 km.0 -
I've never felt the need for software to manage music on any recent DAP I've owned. I just drag and drop files into directories and navigate using tags.
Bear in mind that, on a Mac system and network, iTunes handles a lot more than just music.Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance
