Hi Ladybird
I hope you feel better today. I had a nice meal out with my friends last night but only had 3 drinks. My old boss was there and bought me 2 drinks
We need to meal plan to use up the dregs in our cupboards too! That overpayment is great. We hav just turned our heating on. With being full time now I am hoping it will not be as high this year!Orange Fairy

Take away was seriously good so money well splurged!
Nice weekend had by all
Another £50 CC overpayment today... think I am going to miss out on my £400 target this month though. Have another £30 to come via ebay (stupid PayPal echeque thing taking ages to clear??) but the latest items I listed aren't doing very well so only a couple of extra pounds on the way.
So, 2 days to somehow make £20ish! Wonder if I have anything gumtreeable...
Still, £380 not bad going
Have a great week everyone!0 -

A £380 over-payment is seriously good Ladybird- well done you.
More of our eBay ended last night, only £12.50 this time but every little.....
Hope you are enjoying half-term with the children, I am planning a little party for DS and a couple of his friends- nothing expensive- just a few burgers and bangers and I'll take them trick or treating on our road.0 -
Party sounds fun GL! Hoping to do our pumpkin carving tomorrow but may have left it a bit late to buy one.
News today that we have someone very interested in letting our house! Fingers tightly crossed they get their forms filled in!!!!!0 -
Great news- hope the house starts making you that rent money soon!
PS- couldnt get a blooming pumpkin anywhere today!! I never learn!!0 -
Great news about potential tenants, I've got my fingers & toes crossed for youTotal Debt - Oct 11 (LBM): £26,415.24 / £21,686
Current Account EOM balance: £500 in Overdraft
Debt on Credit Cards: £4,783.99/ £2,1930 -
Thank you both! Trying not to get too excited, would be such a huge relief to get it let before Christmas. The first couple of months rent will be gobbled up by some non-urgent work that still needs doing to the house here and there but just having tenants in will be a massive mental boost.
Housework, pumpkin hunting/carving and general jobs to do today. If I can find a pumpkin some homemade soup might be on the cards too0
