Tesco BBQ Range BOGOF Offer Not Working! DTD To Be Had!

Just got 2 Tesco BBQ Piri Piri Spatchcock chickens. They are £5 each. Big round label on them saying Buy one get cheaper one free. Went through checkout as 2 for £8, so was overcharged £3. CS gave me £6 DTD, so they paid me £1 for the trouble.

The £3.50 BBQ packs are not working today, but still good value at BOGOF.

I think maybe you paid £2 for the two:
You paid £8 & got £6 dtd balance = £2 paid stil good though.:T:T

Sorry ... I don't think they did ... you paid £8 and got £6 back so you paid £2 for 2 chickens! Still an excellant deal well done! I'll keep my eye open for this one as well!

I got DTD yesterday but when i went to a different tesco today a man was putting a yellow security label over the bogof. but the shelf label said bogof. i got ones he had not done yet and it went through bogof.

So it seems they have no idea what price to sell them for!!!

In my local Tescos the Dtd isn't working but there is an extra discount. I bought 6 packs and got the BOGOF discount of £10.50 plus 'Meat 2 Fr£6/3 Fr£8' discount of £5. So £5.50 for 6 packs of meat. Not free but not bad for less than £1 a pack.
