Sounds like they may be nice hex2, but i haven't got a kenwood and i think if i was to go walking up and down the road looking for a small boy i'd have the police knocking on my door.

Flat breads...really easy to make. 250gms plain flour, 1 tspn salt, 1 tbsn olive oil, 150ml warm water. Sieve flour and salt together, add oil to the water, pour into flour to make a dough, knead for 5 mins, rest for 10-15 and away you go! Tear a piece off and roll out on a floured board then cook in a frying pan. You know its done when it bubbles and colours up.0

Not tried this one yet.....
500g strong white flour
2tsp salt
7g sachet fast action yeast
3 tblsp olive oil
300ml water
Mix the flour, salt, yeast and oil in a large bowl and add enough water to make a soft but not sloppy dough. Knead well. Put into a lightly oiled bowl to rise for 1hr untill doupled in size.
Divide into 8 piececes and use a rolling pin to flatten each one into a cirrcle about 1cm. Then leave for 5 mins to prove.
Heat a large frying pan to medium heat and dry fry each piece until browned on both sides.
The one I have tried and we all love is a toasted cumin flatbread which is gluten free.
400g GF flour + extra for dusting
1tblsp cumin seeds- toasted
300ml naturel yoghurt
Dust a baking sheet with flour
Mix flour and cumin seeds in a bowl, then season. Stir in yoghurt + slowly add around 100ml of water, mixing well to form a soft dough.
Divide into 8 pieces and shape into circles or ovals about 1/2 cm thick. Dust lightly with a little flour. Grill on baking sheet for 3-5 min on each side until puffed. Serve warm.
These are really easy and very yummy.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
