You don't perhaps think the admins are a bit too busy to bother about petty things like this?

I got the impression from a message they sent me (about Tommo complaining on the flag thread). That they were really too busy to bother about petty things like this.

I sense they are more concerned about racism/offensive language/advertising etc. then whether someone may (or may not) have made up a userid on something random like this!

Its hardly like they have done anything terrible!

Maybe, maybe not.

They are usually pretty hot on removing rude and disruptive posting and I'm pretty sure that someone creating a new account which they then use to imply that an established poster is lying would qualify as rude and disruptive.

I'm sure you would agree that it is pretty low and cowardly behaviour.

You do like to mention established posters but is the OP established? I thought he had only joined the board to post this thread?

I think the admins concentrate more on the boards where there are serious issues. As opposed to this board which tends to be filled with more trivial matters.

Well, he has done a lot more to established himself than Jeanjeanie which is obviously an account created for the sole purpose of trying to discredit another poster.

Could you two get any more off topic? If they want to remove the posts they will, if they don't they won't. That's assuming pianoplayer even bothers to report them. It hardly needs a big, off topic discussion here.

Yes but only because people have reported them. If its not racist/offensive/advertising I really don't think they care. For one thing you and me have abused each other constantly for months and apart from deleting a few posts they haven't really cared.

The only time they have every said anything to me was when that other poster kicked off, (I assume he had made a complaint to the forum team about it). All they asked me to do was to put him on my ignore list because it would "save them some work".

From the photo there is only 4 of them running it and I assume they have a pretty full day. I really can't think they appreciate having to investigate petty matters which in the grand scheme don't really cause any problems!

You may well be right.

Personally, I would not report in this instance because the poster in question has just made themselves look like a complete knob.

Hi,

The impression I had and one that TS certainly mentioned that this was a national implementation, obviously I have not heard from Toby's yet and I am not certain if they will mention that in any response to me. When I do hear from them I will be happy to clarify that point and leave you to decide on the merits of the newsletter.

I have emailed a notification of the post, simply because the poster I suspect had malice and forethought, added nothing to the debate and insinuated I was a liar, which I think is unfair given the fairness with how I have reported and presented my case and answered comment. It is for Moderators to decide the validity of this complaint which I am happy now to move on from.
