I am on Windows Vista - does that make a difference, as I cant see the park bench, or the link? Thanks by the way!
Ah sorry.....
Look to the right of where it says "Unidentified Network (Public network). Local only" for a link that says change click that and then select Private. How do I add a signature?0 -
Thank you. I have done that, disconnected the ethernet cable, logged in to the connection wirelessly, but it will still not display a webpage.0

Does it now say it's a Private Network in Network and Sharing Centre?
If so, click Start > Run and type:
ipconfig /renew (remember, single space!)
then click OK.
A screen will open and close immediately.
Wait 30 seconds and try the connection again.How do I add a signature?0 -
Or you could try and delete your current connection and start another. Double click your current connection (down by the clock).
Then click manage wireless networks. Find your current network.Forgot to say, click remove! May help.
Once done, double click again by clock your wireless and find your network, put in password and hopefully you'll be up and running again.Helping the country to sleep better....ZZZzzzzzzz0 -

I am not sure where run is on Vista - sorry!0 -
I just typed that into the Start, then Start Search box.0

I just typed Run into the same search box and it came up with the Run option. Typed as you said. I disconnected the connection, and connected again, but it was still connected with limited.0

Has anyone managed to recify the same problem, please?
Starting to drive me mad now!0 -
open a cmd prompt (you may need to run as admin), and type
"ipconfig/flushDNS" without the quotes and hit enter, then type
"netsh winsock reset catalog/ " without the quotes, but note the space after the slash, and hit enter. The second one will require a reboot to complete. Then try connecting again...........Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0
