Grr just typed a long post and it got lost!

anyway, Pania came to the cake rescue!! thanks hun x The hoover has made a rare appearance and you can now see the floor! The road is now open between here and Yarmouth, so will be setting off shortly for the funeral.

My sister has sent me some money for my birthday which will pay for the perfume I bought yesterday, I don't feel guilty now! I can pay her money into the bank and tell her she bought me some perfume with it! Another friend bought me a voucher for a spa session - fab!

Right, better go and get showered and into my funeral dress.....catch you later x

ok silver lining lj to the rescue.
I know it's crap to be going to a funeral but it's a good thing it went ahead. It helps with the greiving process and being able to move on and it also puts a full stop on a really bad time. Now you can groove on with the coffee and cake over the weekend hmmmm cake....Make sure you get some over the weekend mrs!!!
  • hope you're ok...hugs for you!

  • Hi hypno. Just catching up (only last few pages of diary though hon...) and so sorry to read those things all amassed to put somewhat of a downer on your day.

You'll have to have an alternative birthday babes....where *nothing* upon nothing is going to come between you and a bit of bloody 'you' time and some fun! If you don't deserve it I haven't got a Scooby Do who does.

Oh and a for being a 'bad Mother' (sure I read that somewhere along the way) well all I can do is  and blow a big ol' raspberry. Bad mother my ar5e. ;)

Enjoy your perfume - make sure you wear it when you go for your Costa coffee & cake! :D

It has been really really nice having lots of virtual cake, with real virtual friends on here, and also on facebook! Lots of lovely birthday wishes on threads and pm's really helped me get through the day. I don't know if you appreciate just what a difference it can make but believe me that without the knowledge that you are here, care, and take a minute or so to type a post, it would have been a very dark day.

Thanks too to Pania for bringing me cake and fizz, when I thought my day was going to be completely pants - I promise we will do coffee and cake very soon.

I am going to plan a "me" day - shopping for work clothes using pigsback vouchers, a treatment at the spa using the voucher my friend bought me, a much needed hair cut, and coffee and cake at Costas ........will round it off I think by finding a 2 for 1 voucher for dinner somewhere, and will use the money my MiL gave me for my birthday to pay for it.

so, yes, my birthday will take place another day - if it is good enough for the Queen, it will do for me too!!

Hugs to you all, you are very important people xxx

    Hi hypno

Just logging on again after getting back from London, I knew what an up and down day it was for you: glad we all could help, especially Pania (and your sister!) and very glad to hear about the You Day that you've got planned. Hope you're zzzz-ing away right now.
