Hope you've had a good day so far at Uni hypno. Good luck this week with the energy lowering. Perhaps measure 2 cupfuls of water intot he kettle? That way the scale will be in the cupful left in the kettle, but not in your cup and you are still limiting the water?

I've been trying so hard with the line drying but it's not going well

Hi Sea, I know what you mean about the line drying - this is the wrong time of year to undertake a "tumble dry free" challenge!!

I thought that I would make a flask of coffee each morning, that way I only have to boil the kettle once. I will see how it goes for the next few days - obviously I am not working at home today so can't do that, but will be there for the rest of the week.

that's what hubby does hypno (flask thing) usually brings some home with him at the end of the day and it's still warm ...how you doing anyway hows the kids did they get away ok?

DD found it a bit difficult to breathe at altitude to start with but is ok now. She says it is very cold and has already had to spend 30 euro on some new gloves!!!!

DS had a migraine last night - he is prone to them so not entirely unexpected, but a bit of a shame for him. Hopefully the rest of the week will be migraine free!

Anyway, best get back to work.......catch up later x

Bloomin' cold inland too James! Thankfully the office I am working in today is nice and warm, although I do have to venture outside at lunchtime.

What a bunch of wusses we are - it is only October and the clocks haven't even gone back yet

Morning all.

We had a nice evening last night - went out for a meal using one of the vouchers Mum had given us for Christmas. We paid for drinks so it cost us £4.50 but we parked for free and obviously didn't have to pay for our meal so all in all a nice cheap meal!

Then came home and set up the "intellipanel" for the tv - this is like a socket which switches everything right off - tv, dvd, video, sky box, when you put the tv on standby. I am hoping that it will shave a bit more off the electric bill by not having everything on standby all the time.

This evening I think we will be sorting out ebay stuff and getting some of that (finally) listed.

Today i have physio, then clients on and off all day. hope to catch up on here in between, plus I have housework to get on with.
