Not ganging up, will never mention it again. ZTD seems to have pregnancy on the brain.
I googled anti-candida... it's not fair, I have all the symptoms of yeast infection but very rarely eat any sugar.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
But sugar includes all carbs, even fruit and veg!
I had mine tested about 6 or 7 years ago, stuck to the diet for about 5 years then went haywire after dad died. I really do need to get back to it, I know I will feel so much better when I do.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Hope I'm not going off track or being too yucky, but in a book I read once (it was pink, and called Not On The Label and was by a guardian journo I believe) she discussed the increase of yeast infections in women.
She blamed the supermarket bread making process which doubles the amount of yeast in bread dough in order to cut the proving time in half.....
Not eaten supermarket bread much since, and always advise my friends who have daughters to go to a bakery instead. Trouble is a loaf there costs £1.40, so I've been lurking on Freecycle for a breadmaker.0 -
OO, I think ZTD mentioned something similar a while back when we were discussing bread somewhere!
Sadly though, I have tried sticking to home made bread, soda bread etc etc but without much luck (except it tastes yummy!).
My mum first took me to the docs with the symptoms when I was about 6.......lots and lots of years ago! It was another 25 years before we discovered what the problem was. From time to time I miss bread, but generally only when in France or when the breadmaker is giving out yummy smells! Apart from that, I am not too bothered by it. It is giving up the other stuff - that feeds the yeast that I find much more difficult to do without.
