just a word of warning though, it is tricky to get a sound to begin with - it takes training your mouth to a certain position on the headjoint, but once you've got that you'll be on your way! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do :) x x

    Hi hypno.

Good luck with the flute! If you don't like it I am sure with the good clean up you will give it, you can sell it for more than £20 on EBAY! :D

Well that was kind of the way I saw it when I jumped in and made that impulse buy! It surely has to be worth £20 of anyone's money! I am quite looking forward to learning, but first it needs cleaning, and that needs a bit of care I think.

KC I wasn't really dissing my viola. I do want to play it again, but I have tried and I am too rusty, so would need a few lessons to get me back on track and because of the cost, it is a no go for the time being. When played well, it does sound beautiful.....when played by me at the moment, it sounds more like a tortured cat!

Hi hun, flute sounds fab! What have you got planned for tomorrow?

Tomorrow I have physio at 9.30, clients at 10.15, 12.00 and 3.00, college at 6pm. In between I am hoping to have a very quick housework blitz and several cups of coffee!

Dinner tomorrow will be some sort of chicken casserole cooked in the slow cooker that I can start off before I go to the physio!

Ah, FF, remember that this is my "normal" week. As with any scientific research, you have to have a "control" scenario to base any future results with so you can assess the improvements (or lack thereof) that are being made!

So, this week it is "drying as usual" - I have read the meter yesterday, and will do so again on Sunday, then will change my habits and read it again a week later to see what the difference is. Hopefully then it will inspire me to make more changes/effort/kicks up the bums for others in the house etc etc!

You are therefore ahead of me in the leccy challenge!

Did you manage to get any further with the house sale enquiries today?
