Thanks for doing that for us Benben! We really appreciate it. Make sure you take off all costs etc before sending us anything - I don't want you out of pocket at all.

Just spent ages catching up on the posts on here! It sounds as though things are going well Hypno! I see that you have getting on for £1.5k towards then ski trip saved!
Well done everyone re the cleaning - at the moment I cannot clean due to there being a glut of cardboard boxes in the house (Mark is emptying them 1 or 2 a day! being on crutches I am not a lot of help with this), yesterday I did do a horrendous amount of cleaning at the old flat so I think I did well. The only problem is I am paying for it today with rather a lot of painand my weight is in the stratosphere so I need to get back on track tomorrow!

Hmm - how did the drive for getting cartridges work out? are you expecting more now the postal strike is ended? Can you sell more of the old skiing equipment clothes either through the club or ebay?Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Cartridges are coming through steadily - I won't be packing them up just yet to send off, so until the money comes through, I won't be counting it.
I have organised a second hand ski stuff sale on 4th November at the club - it is our annual championships so hopefully there will be plenty of people around. It will mean that other parents can sell their stuff too, and hopefully we will all benefit in some way - I have quite a bit of clothing to sell so would hopefully expect to get £70-80 that way.
I am also thinking of doing a car boot when the kids are away in half term. I really do NEED to do one, I just don't WANT to!!
I have taken on another job (don't know if you knew!) in the bar at the ski club - Saturday afternoons and odd evenings - not much more than minimum wage, but still another £30 a week I suppose so it all helps!

Just read what you were saying about Ebay and considering Turbo Lister: I set up as a 'proper' Ebay business a couple of years ago, and tried just about everything that was available. In the end, I now use Auctiva (www.auctiva.com). It isn't perfect, and loads of people have gripes, but I found it the best of a very bad bunch (don't start me on Turbolister!). Best thing is that you can add up to 24 photos free and design the listing however you like. Free to sign up and use as well - they make their money from shipping insurance from US users.0
