Good morning Hypno (at least I think it's morning as the kids have gone to school but as I've been up most of the night I'm not sure what time of day it is!). Don't take this the wrong way but reading back over your last few posts I am strangely glad that your house is not immaculate because what with all the work and uni and ski fund and looking after lodgers and everything, then if you also had a totally clean house then you would be a little bit too perfect and that's not good. (Does that make sense? Sorry, it does to my befuddled mind but I realise I may not be thinking straight!)

ATypicalBlonde - a lot of the survey sites I'm signed up to (Lightspeed, Test and Vote, Ciao, PureProfile, Valued Opinions - off the top of my head) I only signed up to because you got paid to do so from Quidco. have a look on there and I'm sure you'll find a few.
  • Have a good one, hypno:beer: .

As far as the essay's concerned, we all know you'll get it done and gain an excellent result for it. If you're anything like me (and I sincerely hope you're not in most ways I can think of :rotfl: ) then the arrival of the last deadline is enough to spur you on to get it done. I could only get stuff done at the 11th hour, it concentrated the mind brilliantly. I've been like it right from school days:o . Always worked for me though:j

    Take care

    Morning All
Have to agree with Imp my essays written right up to the wire always got better marks than the ones I did beautiful essay plans for and revised after a first draft. Only explanation I can think of is that the extra "thinking time" paid off <shrug>
Well I think both Hypno and Pania would feel right at home here and within their comfort zone !! :D However I'm on a day out tomorrow to ITV to watch a show been recorded so I MUST get some housework done today (in between filling out Gapbuster evaluations). Not sure I'll have time to make the casserole that Pania wants me to make for Paul O'Grady however...maybe I'll forget that and just leer at Donny Osmond instead ;)
Fairly MSE as tickets are free and I suppose I could check out the area the studio is in for MS's too.
Oh and Choco-I've always felt perfection is VERY over-rated !!
Off to shift snoozing kitten off my lap and get busy-after a cuppa :)

Oh how true! I don't ever think that my house will be tidy throughout, without the help of a cleaner and of course I can't afford one of those any more!

I'd love to join you on a houseworking challenge but I'll be at work. I do do the housework on a Thursday night, so that when i get home on Friday night the weekend starts:beer:

But my house is now fairly tidy.......and empty  OH caught his plane last night, and I came home to find great areas of carpet where he'd heaped things previously and these have now been packed/put away/binned/e-bayed.
I'd rather be cleaning up after him than missing him.
  • Hello all!

Well 195 pages and a week and a half later - I have now finished your diary! Well done hypno, you've achieved such a lot and make me feel incrediably guilty for the stuff that I should be doing but don't!!

Everytime I want to spend money I read you thread and it makes me realise that I shouldn't.

So just wanted to say thanks really!
