We have just sat and watched "the pursuit of happyness" - a really nice film and I would recommend it to anyone!
I have a load of surveys lined up to do tomorrow morning, so will put the laptop away for now and hopefully get a clear head lined up!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Just caught up on the days antics after a looooong day with lots of work and not much forum time.. giggling at the potato! :rotfl:The toothpaste thing works quite well to draw them out and dry them up, although I remember when I was first at Uni - at the time I was staying in halls and one night the fire alarm went off (one night? it was at least once a week!) and we all trouped outside.. one of the more glamorous - or so she thought - girls used to use such occasions for flirting with the boys in her skimpy nightwear. Unfortunately on this particular night the effect was spoiled as she'd obviously used the toothpaste trick and had some attractive white blobs on her face - she'd completely forgotten until people started pointing....
Oh and Hypno - you're not the only one thinking about targets for next year, are we wishing our lives away?! Nah... just forward planningDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Well, the potato did work - the spot did not surface, and the "pressure" under the skin has gone!!

I had a quick pop on here this afternoon (really busy at work so no chance for MSE time ) and was desperately trying not to laugh re the frozen potato on your face - glad to hear it worked though :T
Also glad to hear about the overtime and that the money's going on the debts - hopefully that'll make working a bit easier (tiredness wise - if you've really got something to show for it with those numbers going down even quicker - not that your children's skiing isn't something to show for it I'm sure).
Is online bingo easy? I've seen all the offers etc but don't know if it's something I should try - I haven't got the time or concentration to devote to matched betting at the moment but bingo I thought I might - or is it harder? thanks.
Hope you're feeling rested and have a good Wednesday - we've got loads of school kids coming to the university so it'll be a busy one for me :rolleyes:Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000
