    Morning Hypno!!!

Congrats on returning to the spending diary idea with renewed vigour - this is one of the things that I find the trickiest to stick to. I have all my fingers and toes crossed for your Barclaycard application, will they be letting you knoe by post if you have got it?

Have a very happy tuesday in the sunshine hun xx

Hi ATB, I assume they will give me the bad news by letter - just to give me something to look forward to in the post :rotfl: I applied on-line though so maybe they will let me know by e-mail. Whichever way, I'm not going to allow myself to get down if I get rejected. I won't let them get the better of me!

Good attitude to have I think. Try and put it out of your mind, and focus on other productive DFW/fabby sunny type things in the meantime (sorry I am getting a bit sun obsessed at the mo!!)

My new spending notebook is still empty - because I have spent nothing!!

Payments on two of my loans have gone out today meaning I can update my figures in a few days and amend my signature, and I have made £15.62 matched betting - ok, not a lot, but at least I have got the ball rolling again!

I did some "training" for the exam invigilating today so hoping to get my first couple of real sessions next week. Won't get paid until 5th June, but at least it will be extra money, gratefully received!

I have one thing ending on ebay tonight but no bids and no watchers either! The thing that I sold the other week that I had all the hassle with because it was listed incorrectly was returned to me today - the buyer had not amended his address with ebay when he moved recently so we sent it to the wrong place! (not our fault, but I now have the hassle of re-sending it) - I think it is trying to tell me that we shouldn't have sold it, but I needed the cash.

Well done on keeping the spending diary empty - it seems such a shame to soil a lovely clean diary page with lots of nasty spending doesn't it lol!

It sounds like today has been mostly pretty positive for you, apart from the eBay hassles - I'll cross my fingers that Barclaycard come through for you too.

(I've just promised to keep my fingers crossed for elantan too.... hmmmm.... going to have a lot of crossed fingers today, so my typing will be even worse than usual!)

Just popped in for a few minutes for a breather!

I have been digging the garden, hacking back stuff (goodness knows what!) and generally trying to make some sense of what should be a peaceful tranquil place but is more like a jungle!

Two trips have already been made to the dump with garden rubbish and I suspect that there may be more to be made later today.

It is hot and sunny and I look fab in shorts and wellies ;)

Anyway, just thought I would come and say that no cash has left my person today, so far so good! OH car has been declared off the road so we don't need to get the car tax just yet and I am still awaiting a court date for my bank charges and have yet to hear anything about my travel insurance claim although it is very early days for that one.

Will be back on later. The kettle beckons though.....

If I get enough of the garden clear, I get to have a washing line outside which would be a huge improvement on the airer that I currently have. Very DFW as I would be able to stop using the tumble drier now until the winter!

I must dig, I must dig, I must......

    Hi Hypno :hello:

Not been around for a couple of days & jsut caught up on your diary. Spending diaries are very good ideas (just wish I would actually keep one!) and lovely blank pages still - :j

The Ebay thing is jsut typical - the first thing I do before bidding or selling on Ebay is to check my details are correct, so make sure he/she pays you the additional postage costs!

I hope you get the 0% credit card, will also keep my fingers crossed for you
