   that movie!!!! Harmless fun is more my line! And the daleks (the wooden ones that toddle about at SF conventions, anyway!).

[Karmacat drags the subject back to moneysaving, v aware of how non-mse SF conventions are.....]

Anyway, hope it goes well for the children at their first day back, hypno. But for you, 12 hours yesterday!!! Thats a long, long time, when you're not used to it. For some weird reason, I'm snowed under with therapy-type work today, so will be v good for actual income, but I won't have time for any of the little schemes we run on here. So I'm off to get things ready. Have a good day all.

Hi KC!! I had loads of "client" work last week - no time for anything else, but this week it is much quieter - swings and roundabouts I suppose!!

I hope you have a good day :D

you know somehow writing things on here Makes them happen, so the parcel will be posted and the mint letter written or neither of you will DARE show your faces :rotfl:
It's why I mostly lurk, but Always post on "what DFW thing will you do today?" It makes me do it:T

Ooh, just remembered I need to pack up an ebay parcel and post it today. Now I have written it on here I hopefully will not forget......must post parcel.....most post parcel.......MUST POST THAT BLOODY PARCEL!!!!!!!!!

What happened to your brilliant academic diary system? When you gave us the idea a lot of us followed suit and got ourselves organised too:j . It looks from your comment about the parcel that you either didn't put it in the diary or forgot to look at it:rotfl: . But with the busy couple of days you've just had(new student to settle in, children to send back fully equipped to school and a new job for you) it's perfectly understandable!

Olive! At last! I've been looking for you ever since you joined our 35k challenge and this is the first time I've found you.

Welcome to the challenge and best of luck. I'm wearing the yellow jumper at present - and am quite honestly amazed to find myself 'winning' anything as I feel very far from a winner in all matters debt-related!

But I'm not resting on my laurels as I feel sure that taxi will romp home first, and hypno will pull a few rabbits out of hats too.

Anyway, good to have your company on the journey.

Hypno - sorry for the hijack - and please tell us how you get on with Facebook. I keep getting invitations and have gone from dismissing it as teenage nonsense to being quite intrigued. But the main thing stopping me joining up is the fear that I'd waste as much time there as I do here! So I'll be interested to hear your views on it.

Right, just off to do a few more things off my list before taking DS and a small friend swimming - his request for an end-of-holiday treat.

And I may be bringing up the rear, but I have a secret and cunning plan where I will over-take you all and surge ahead in November......just you wait and see (more horrible cackling) :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Ooh, goodies AND baddies on my diary!! Woo hoo!!!

Just need to make one thing clear though, before anyone has any misgivings about my diary system - I was only paid for said ebay item yesterday, so nothing missed, or late!! I just need the additional reminders everywhere so that it does go out today, otherwise I will be cross with myself!!

OliveOyl, what great money making ideas have you got for beating us to £35,000 - if it is anything legal, let us know so we can copy. If it is anything illegal, let us know so we can copy you anyway ;)

Seaxwyn - that yellow is kind of suiting you :D

Hypno, how could I have ever doubted your efficiency even in jest? :o
