Hypno, I'm very tidy....NOT:eek: . At least the bits anyone sees are OK(just) but open any cupboard and you'd be submerged under an avalanche of hastily tidied-away stuff that will fall out on you:o
Actually, as you are a good bit younger than me, adoption wouldn't work. I could be your lodger after the Norwegian students have all gone:rotfl:. DH wouldn't even miss me until he realises how starving hungry he is and hasn't any clean clothes left to wear!0 -

A great day so far!
While most of the family were still sleeping and getting their "holiday" off to a lazy start, I did a bit of matched betting and managed to pay £25 off the Egg card :j . I am going to ressurrect my "matched bet to clear my egg card" challenge - I really do want rid of that monster, and it is the smallest debt we have with about the biggest APR so sensible to concentrate on it!
I hope to do some more matched betting tomorrow, as we have nothing planned and there are some good offers for the beginning of the football season.
Then we took a pack up and went to the lake where we lazed, and the children swam and did the usual messing about! We parked the car down the lane to avoid paying for the car park and I took a flask of coffee to avoid unnecessary spends.
On the way back to the car we picked loads of plums and blackberries - we have several lbs of delicious fruit. On the OS board I have found a recipe for blackberries and vodka - will def be giving that a go, and either using the resultant alcoholic delight to give as christmas presents to friends, or will just enjoy getting absolutely sozzled
The plums will soon be devoured by DD who is a fruit bat and hopefully I will get some of them in the freezer.
Fish and Chips for dinner was our "extravegance" of the day but enjoyed by all, and the chap buying Dad's computer has been to pick that up and hand over the money, so that was even better!
I hope everyone else has had a good day xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Hey hypno, great to hear you've had such a good day, that weather has been glorious hasn't it! Excellent to hear it's been so DFW to and congrats on the egg card, certainly sounds like a great idea. Been trying to find some dinky matched bets to do but so many offers can't get my head around them all!!
Going to have to OH to the broad one day soon, sounds lovely and blackberry vodka mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, could be erm, interesting!!
Have a great evening! xxdebt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
I know P, so many offers, so little money available to do them with!!
There are just so many around, I should have had more foresight and kept some money aside to do them.

got loads of "work" done but still more to do, been sadly lacking in motivation. Just off to tackle the housework now before OH comes home from cricket, looks disparagingly (gosh v long word for a saturday) about him and says "done lots today then?":rotfl: :rotfl:
My house is rapidly turning into the sort Kim and aggie delight over, so once again i find myself needing to be booted off the site so i shift my butt and sort it!
Yup know what you mean about the bets! will be able to do in a week but they are all blinking "hallelujiah the footies back wohee wohoo" offers!!
found one in the mirror for ladbrookes, 2x£10 bets SNR for betting a tenner but some have said thats not to good! still may be a dinky one to get on with!
ok, off to be a good girl and do housework now, aurevoir!:Adebt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
Hypno
I took my kids abroad this year for the first time ever and yes they enjoyed it but this 2 weeks we are having a home holiday and totally chilling. DD and I haven't even got out of our PJ's today *blush*. They are getting time to veg out which with our manic life we normally dont have the time to just 'be' if you know what I mean.DS has sat on the computer all day and he never does that,DD has learned how to crochet and is sitting doing a blanket. Not healthy, not anything really but they are loving it and no harm done. Enjoy and dont think you need to fill every day.x5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Thanks MIT and Taxi!!
Tomorrow we have no plans except a fried breakfast!! The weather is unpredictable so we will just do whatever!!!
I love it when there are no rules!
This evening I have done more matched betting but now have all money tied up until things settle - should have made about £100 by the end of the week but just have the old "cash flow" to deal with now!! Still, when the money comes through, it will go nicely off my egg card :j
