    Morning all!

Well, a fairly good week continues - I got an email overnight saying someone would like to buy my dad's old computer and is sending a cheque for £295 :j That will almost entirely pay for the children's next race camp at the end of the month so I am very happy with that!

Today is full of clients so again is good, moneywise, then our "holiday from home" starts this evening with fish and chips!!

Have a good day everyone x

It sounds like a really good start to the day with selling the computer.

I've very jealous about the fish & chips. Though I shouldn't be I'd supposed to be trying to diet! We've got 2 days in Whitby when we get back, so we'll have to try some then, you can't go to the seaside and not have fish & chips :D

Hope your holiday at home goes well, and the weather stays fine.

I saw a TV prog recently which mentioned that there's a fish&chip shop/restaurant in Whitby with fish and chips to die for(not literally I hope:rotfl: ). The presenter said they were the best he'd ever had. Unfortunately I can't recall the name of the outlet:o

    Enjoy them without feeling guilty!

Well, this evening is not going as planned. Yesterday, I should have taken the children to MILs for dinner, but I forgot. I am a bad mother/daughter in law and aunt, because my S-I-L and her two are visiting.

So I said I would take them today instead, although I was looking forward to our fish and chips and a nice easy evening.

OH rings up at lunchtime and apparently they have planned on taking the kids to the pleasure beach after Dinner. With a dodgy neck etc I can't go on anything and hate not being able to do what I want, plus it is all expensive, so I said I didn't want to go. So still a bad mother/ D-I-L and aunt! After an argument with OH, he is taking the children over there instead, and I am staying at home to be grumpy.

So, on the plus side, the children get to do something fun in their "holiday at home" and I get a bit of peace, on the down side, I think I have upset everyone and I hope it is not held against me all week.

Anyway, can't worry about that now really. I have had a good day work wise and also started off spreadsheets for the next three months, so I really am trying to get myself on top of the game. I may use my evening to have a little DFW brainstorming session all to myself! I can sit and fiddle with my snowballs.....:o
