Hope that you have a wonderful lovely fabby day today, I'll be home, working, houseworking and all kinds of mega boring stuff like that. My try to pop into town later if poss so if you are about and fancy a coffee (macdonalds, not costalotta let me know. Made big error on my marathon app, so much so i need another, and determined to go threaten the bank manager at the abbey with hanging drawing or wuartering unless he sorts my situation out for me!

Have you been to the local tourist info yet? Normally some of the leaflets have special offer entry vouchers, so you might find some more cheap things to add to your holiday list. They sometimes have them in the libraries too.

Hi Se999, yes, tourist info is in the library, so it will be one of the early things we do this week!

OH and DD are still sleeping, so they are obviously getting their holiday off to an acceptable start!!

Hi Taxi, yes I am looking forward to this week, and we have plenty of activities we can do without spending much, and have some vouchers for BOGOF meals out too so I can even get a break from cooking :j

Right, just made £9.63 from matched betting this morning - I am going to try and ressurrect my challenge of £50 a week to clear the egg card.....watch this space!!

I just wanted to say what fun you make of money-saving. Your children seem to have such an interesting and happy time thanks to all your ingenuity and effort. What a fantastic lesson they are learning for the future....how to get the most out of every day and really enjoy the small things in life. I'll bet they won't ever be in big debt after the wonderful example you're setting them.

I just wish my parents had done the same for me. Everything we had as children was money-rich but parent-time poor if you see what I mean. Please will you adopt me????
