Well, just back after a very nice, but incredibly hot day! The hamper was well received, as were the carrot muffins. We had a fab picnic, with pimms and strawberries for good measure, the children walked down to watch the steam trains go by and all in all we had a pretty good and restful day. I bought coffee on the way which came to £6.40 - my total spend for the day!

Now though, I have come home to find my inbox on my email has emptied itself!! All I can think of to say to that is  Better stick to MSE instead!!

Seaxwyn and KC, I hope you had a productive computer day x

Hiya Hypno, good to hear you've had sucha lovely day, that sounds a fab picnic spot, can you PM me with where it is if local?
I'm glad the hamper went down well, thats really nice to know and the kids must've felt good having made such an effort on it.
Been working all day, yawn boring, first phone call from client came at 0930 this morning! On a sunday! went to see DP and told him of your straw hat suggestion, was promptly warned he would jump the fence and make for grenner pastures if i even dared try such a thing! ok, well maybe not exactly but that was the implication of the looks he was giving me.
Have a great evening. back to the grindstone! xx

Ooh P, just noticed your mood monitor for today. I will try to be very nice, just in case you lose your temper again :D

The picnic was sadly not local - a good couple of hours drive each way - near the Nene valley railway. But it was nice, all the same.

I hope you don't have to work too late tonight. Try and give yourself a bit of a break xx

    Hiya
Sorry about the mood thing, Pania. Hypno, so glad the day went so well - you've had a great weekend from the sound of it. After I'd posted above, I decided enough was enough, and leapt off the comp to go into town - got my hair cut, bought my beloved Waitrose pesto (I'm addicted) and, ooh, Marks and Sparks have a gluten free black cherry and chocolate cake, one of those with buttercream icing all over it!!!! And its only £2.29 - I know thats a lot, but still....... anyway, its very moreish, and not at all healthy, and I'm about to have another slice. Its a treat cos I've been on the computer all evening reading French purchase contracts for my sister, I deserve it!

I've just been a completely grumpy asse all day today, Computer has taken on a mind of its own and got yelled at then wooden spoon went flying across the kitchen when the eggs took it upon themselves to burn me quite nastily on the hand!! no rhyme or reason to it just a grumpy day!! quite chilled out now and caught up on loads of work so feeling good, so don't be scared little children ha ha ha ha ha!!!!
oooooh no Karma, the conversations headed towards cake again, we got told off for that on my thread the other day!!
Picnic sounds lovely Hypno and hope you felt quite comfortable during the journey. have the aches and pains subsided any yet. What a lovely day it was today, hope you took your factor 30!!
Want to work quite late tonight as then i can start a new week afresh, very nearly back on top of things and can leave it behind and focus on the new week.
Have a lovely sunday evening, whats left of it! Enjoy the cake (karma). xxx

Ooh, that cake sounds yummy, KC. Certainly a good enough reward in my book for having been stuck to the computer for most of the day working!

Hi P, sun cream and hats aplenty - we are very good at that as Mum has had skin cancer in the past, so we all learnt a lesson from it!

don't work too late tonight - I know you want to get on top of things, but if you start the week tired, you won't get as much done during the week, then will be working through the night again next weekend! Steady is def the way to go xx

Yes, fully recovered now, thanks and we are all pretty careful in the sun as a result.

11pm is plenty late enough, so I will allow you until then, but no later :D

oh, and coffee during the week will be fab - the kids are skiing this week, so I will be child free and able to pop to you if that would suit you better.

Tomorrow I have the hillarys blinds man coming to give me a quote - just so I can get £20 cash back through quidco!! I have no intention of having blinds in my conservatory, but have to sit through the measuring up and sales pitch!!
