Hi P, DD did the ironing then cuddled up to me and asked me if I was prepared to pay her for having done it! Very MSE for her, but not so for me!!!
Have done a few hours invigilating this morning, the last one of the school year. I'm really glad I started doing this, and have throughly enjoyed it. Will def put my name down for the next lot of exams at the end of the year.
My head still hurts after that horrid man yesterday. Why did I have to let him get to me :mad:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Hi Hypno,
Can you not do yourself a visualisation of hitting the guy from yesterday round the head with a soggy fish or something?
Glad you've enjoyed the invigilating - it sounds like a perfect short term thing to me - and no doubt reminds you how grateful you are to never have to take that many exams in one go again!Total Debt 13th Sept 2006 (exc student loan): £6240.06

just to still ask (as i'm nosey) are you still using the vanilla ?is it working? 11 days sound like a good start to me ....0
-
Not using the vanilla anymore but certainly used it for the first few days. My GP gave me a good trick, should I need it - simply mix coco powder with some sweetner and little water to make a paste. If you genuinely have a craving for chocolate, make up this paste and eat it - the "hit" will be there. However, if the craving is not genuine and you just want to eat chocolate, the effort required in making the paste should mean that you let the craving pass!

:rotfl:Hello! Just got back in from a day's teaching. All going fine until someone who doesn't obviously like me found my achilles heel and messed with my head big time. He took great pleasure in seeing me crumple and I really could have done without it. I am angry with myself for letting him get to me and feel all over the place.
Right, taking a deep breath now and not letting him get to me any longer. Going to put the kettle on and to deal with it......
On a better note, had a text from DS at the ski race to say he had come third so that is good, and DD did all the ironing for me as a suprise, bless her!
I used to teach NLP and hypnosis and sometimes there is one who delights in torturing. I've met them as fellow students on courses too. Sad gits mostly, more problems than you can shake a stick at. The only way they can make themselves feel good is to make someone else feel bad. My consolation has always been that it doesn't last for them - also I make sure I never see them again!!!!!:rotfl:0 -
Hi, hpyno, still reading your diary, just too darn tired to post! Just wanted to say take no notice of nasty people trying to bring you down. We have several at my work, all with low self-esteem / jealousy issues (or so i tell myself anyway!!) Some people just like to upset others - I think it makes them feel better!0

Morning all, and thanks for all your support over the last day or so. My head does not hurt today so I think that has put that particular matter to bed. We will wait and see what happens at the next workshop, but I will not let him get to me, whether I am teaching him or not. He knows that he got to me on Sunday, but if I get to teach him at the next workshop he will see that I am made of sterner stuff - paying off £100k of debt has taught me that!!
So, today I have done piggy clicks already, and checked online banking to see that last weeks matched betting money has come back into the bank, and have updated July's spreadsheet accordingly. I have been paid for a couple more small mystery shops as well so that is good.
I am going to help Pania today with her first matched betting foray - hoping for lots of lovely profit for her.
The children went to Karate yesterday and at the sports centre they have only rip off costa coffee. Usually I try and take a flask from home but didn't yesterday so bought me and one of the other mums a coffee from Costa, £3.70 for 2 cups but the worst of it was that they made it from cheapo instant!!!!!
I questioned it and was told that they had run out of "real" coffee so this would have to do, but when I was complained they still charged me the full £3.70, and basically said "tough".
So I came home and logged onto Costa Coffee website to find an address to complain to but it said contact details will be available soon!!!! If anyone has a contact at the customer service side of Costa Coffee, let me know!!!
I hope everyone has a good day today xxSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
