    Morning all!

Today I am teaching for most of the day which I am really looking forward to - I would like to do more of it but so far it is not regular or reliable which is a shame. Hopefully in due course I will be asked to do a regular "slot" - but that is why I was keen to grab it while I can this weekend!

OH is also working his socks off this weekend in his second job - 15 hour days for 3 days in a row means that when he gets paid at the end of July it should hopefully be a nice amount in the overpayment account.

Tonight my sister is visiting from Leeds - she is newly single and worrying about her bills although I don't think she really has any need to worry, so I have told her to write it all down and we will go through this later on. Because she doesn't visit very often, Mum is taking us all out for a meal (apart from DH because he will still be working), so I don't even have to think about cooking today and better still I don't have to pay :j

3 of our things on ebay have got bids of 99p but with potential for a lot more, so keeping an eye out there. I still have to sort out the dispute regarding the stereo though, but I think I will have to leave that until the weekend is over.

Wow Hypno, you must be the only person on the planet who can make mistakes on matched betting and still end up in profit.

Good news on the teaching days, hope they go well. I'm going walking this weekend, accompanying my Dad on the first two days of a walk to Canterbury, DD3 is going the whole way - seven days walk.. I've just checked the five-day weather forecast and they're in for five days of solid rain. I'd better go and look out my waterproofs.

Hope the visit from your sister is fun. She could have no better teacher on running her finances.

    Hello you two :hello:

We are in for rain here too, another reason why I am glad someone else is taking DS ski racing tomorrow :o

Everyone here is well, which is good - but no doubt we will all be shattered by the end of the weekend. Think of the money.....think of the money.....

My profit on my matched betting mistakes came to a total of £3.64 :T Lesson learnt though, will not be MBing either when I am in a hurry or when I am tired!

Better get going, otherwise I won't get the kids to the ski club before I go tutoring. Will be back later this afternoon.

Have a good day, and good luck with the walk Seaxwyn.

Wow, hypno. I really envy you your grasp of matched betting (and your ability to make money from it even when you make mistakes, lol!). I've understood the principles, but the one time I opened the betfair and coral sites to actually do dry runs, I got totally lost in about ten seconds trying to find the same games. Too much on next week to focus on it, but I have two weeks holiday after that, might devote a whole afternoon to getting to grips with it. Best of luck with your busy weekend.

HI KC, def don't rush into it, I was lucky to get out of my mistakes without losing money - if that had been on one of the big bets instead of the £6 tiddlers then I would have been pooing myself trying to get out of it, and that is not good!

Right, really got to get off the laptop or we will be late and that will not be a good start to the weekend!

    Byeeeeeeeeee:D

Just back from a meal out - DS and our lodger ate so much, it made me feel very worried that I am not feeding them enough! I did make a joke that they wouldn't need feeding tomorrow after eating so much tonight, but they didn't find it particularly funny - in fact I think they are quite worried about what tomorrow may bring!

Got paid today for a mystery shop I had forgotten about, so although only £9, it is £9 more than I had yesterday!

Ebay bids are moving up slowly so that is good, and of course this weekend is full of teaching and overtime so all in all, with a meal paid for by Mum, a very good DFW one so far. Also, as DS is getting a lift with another family to the ski race tomorrow, it saves me petrol (I will give them bottles of wine as a thank you, but I already have those) and food etc when we are there, so another saving there :T

    Hi Hypno

Glad you have bounced back - know what you mean about mistakes on MB though  I backed something with a free bet and had to deal with DS, so left DH to lay it at Betfair - but he backed it!! Then the odds shot up etc etc. Rectified it, but took me ages.

Hope your things are going well on ebay, sold the rest of mine tonight and made a nice profit :D now paid for the car tax so I can breathe again until next time.

Was at a meeting today and lots of people were asking about Hypno Birthing and if many people did it - do you know much about it?

Hi BAUK, I do hypnosis for birthing and it is fab! Even better, is that we teach it to midwives to help their new mums when in labour. It is one of the few hypnosis things that the NHS seem quite happy to use!

Bad luck on the MBing - it does show though that it is not risk free, and even more reason to read, read, and read again before starting out! Think we both had a lucky escape!

Good news about the car tax though! We have OH bike insurance just come out, through quidco, of course, and my car has its MOT next week, so hopefully will get enough through ebay to cover both of those things. Plus, my car insurance is due middle of next month which again will be done through quidco but still needs significant outlay up front

Wouldn't life be simpler if we really could manage without cars etc!
