Hypno's kick up the backside debt diary....

Thanks El,
Just had the post today, one is a credit balance on an old phone bill I had complained about. Not as much as I had hoped for because it cost me 2 sets of bank charges, but at least I have £39 coming back to me. Will be ringing them up today to get it paid into the bank.
The other was a letter from HSBC - wrote to them last week asking for OH credit card statements for the past 6 years sending standard £10 cheque. They have returned the cheque and will send statements without cost. Not bad!

Morning Hypno,
Just catching up on your diary, the signature made me laugh - I agree 4 maltesers definitely don't count. Well done on the giving up chocolate, I liked the tip from your GP.
It's re-assuring/inspiring to know that you are still here chipping away at your debt no matter what life throws at you, thanks.

Blimey Hypno - at quarter past 8 this morning I'd not even finished my first cup of coffee, and you're already undertaking DFW stuff! Can I ask who the old phone bill credit it with? NTL ended up with a £50 credit on my account, and I've had no joy getting it back from either them or Virgin once it switched over (about 18 months I left them now!) Please let me know if you have any joy, and what you had to threaten them with to get it!Total Debt 13th Sept 2006 (exc student loan): £6240.06

Costa Coffee have their headquarters down the road!!!!! Could go down and picket outside if they do not give me lots of lovely vouchers, and some free choc chip muffins :rotfl: Thanks ATB for finding that for me!
My phone saga was with TalkTalk/onetel. Had complained several times before threatening them with the ombudsman if they did not rectify it within 7 days.
