    It's not really for education expenses, as travel expenses and the exact cost of books needed for her course come separately. so apart from stationery and lunches there aren't really any other education expenses.
    It's more an incentive to stay in full time education I think. And it's a reasonable enough amount that in some ways she can budget - eg I want to buy a pair of jeans next month, therefore I can't go out on Friday - that sort of thing. It's not really enough to save a lot for major items AND have a reasonable social life as well. :)

    DD doesn't have a part tie job although she does occasionally anage to earn a bit of money.

    She is, though, very good with money, saves from her (not very generous) pocket money to buy some clothes, and pays for her own PAYG -
