Just trying to get a friendly rise on a dull Monday morning :p provocative? Yes. With malice? None at all my friend, just playing with you. Hope you took it in the spirit it was meant, and if not then pls accept my apology :)
I like playing and I never felt there was any malice in there :) You weren't one of the people that annoyed me, you have a view, which I don't agree with, but they are your views personally, which you state, but then don't belittle others who do it a different way.

No need to be sorry, it allowed me to get the bitterness out and now I'm sitting here pure again. :D Well y'know, about as pure as I've ever been, which is not very tbh :rotfl:
Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.

What on earth gives you the idea that it's the man who does these things in most households?
I'm not - it was the implication of the programme. Basically they wanted a "traditional" couple, where the man only does the "manly" jobs and was incapable of doing "woman's work".
In addition, domestic life doesn't fall apart if nobody puts up shelves, unlike if the shopping/cooking isn't done.
Or if the toilet won't flush, the bills aren't paid etc. I think you're missing my point though...

You've either deliberately misrepresented me or failed to understand my point. There's nothing misogynistic about anything Joss Whedon has done. He's ALL about the girl power. And the girl who was almost cast as Willow before the delicious and wonderful Alyson Hannigan was an overweight girl.

That's not the point. The point is that women in hollywood are almost always thin and attractive, and Buffy does not deviate from that stereotype.

The actor who played Kayleigh in Firefly was asked to gain weight for the part as Whedon is well aware of the issues AND knew that she would be adored as a slightly curvier woman and he was right - but even then she was probably around a size 10-12 - perfectly ordinarily slim woman by non-film industry standards.

He did also bring in one of the few women to buck the trend in Hollywood for one of the shows - though yet again this is another outrageously, gloriously sexy woman - Christina Hendricks.

I'm not saying women are being used as sex objects, especially not in programmes by gender aware people like Joss Whedon. I'm saying that the women in Hollywood are almost exclusively thin, sexually attractive and unblemished, unlike the men.

I suppose it depends on what films you watch - I'd hardly call Kathy Bates, Imelda Staunton and Miriam Margoyles typically 'Hollywood'. For every male actor you can name who bucks the trend, I can match you with a female one. Just like every female 'beauty' can be matched by a male one.

Even the geek/nerd/dork characters look like jocks, with glasses - as much as you would like to play the poor put-upon women game - you should remember that female models out-earn men by a ridiculous margin, and on television women are almost exclusively paid more than their male co-stars, with the exception of a few incredibly popular dramas led by men.

I have to say I agree with this.
Unless your the stereotypical fat black guy, it seems that every guy in hollywood (dork, geek, jock and everything in between) has massive biceps and a 6 pack.

But we seem to have deviated away from the original thread.

I am 23, OH is 22..sex happens once a month maybe!

I love it. The lack of sex I mean. I am so tired after looking after Joshua all day or doing the cook or cleaning up BOTH of their mess. Sex isn't important to me BUT cuddles are.

I think it's important, but not essential.

Otherwise relationships would break up as soon as people became elderly and unable. But relationships continue in spite of old age and disability destroying sex life.

Love is ultimately the foundation of a relationship

I think its pretty important. With my ex, i think the lack of sex defnetly contributed to us splitting up. Thankfully with my current bf his sex drive seems matched to mine. :D

As for !!!!!!, i see nothing wrong with it, as long as it isnt replacing sex in a realtionship. I even watch it myself sometimes :o

As long as you are both happy then thats the main thing. tend to think that men masturbate somewhat more than women to fulfill their needs and this is certainly not to be taken as a slight on their partners.
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

Personally for me, it is important, I do have a high sex drive, but would never beg or moan for it!
As for !!!!!!, I don't see a problem with it, I would watch it with my partner and if he wanted to watch it alone then why not? Like MU said, as long as it doesn't replace sex then where is the problem?

I am embarking on a new 'thing' at the moment, this is gonna be proper this time, no sex before commitment, taking things slow etc but we have had the chat and luckily we are on the same page sexualy!
He described himself as a silver medalist, love it! :rotfl:
I do think though that any affection is important, my abusive ex never cuddled me or showed me any affection and it's rather soul destroying to be honest, it makes you think there is something wrong with you.

    No sex before commitment..?

You mean he wont make love to you until you commit..?

What is "commit" ? Is it a furry box with a ring in it or is it a level of understanding that you both are together for the mean time because it works well?
