Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

All that can be certain is that particular judge does sit in that court in Lincolnshire. So I am inclined to believe that it was a genuine court case.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

Could the removal of the posts from CAG indicate the dead hand of the BPA? Posts and threads have gone missing from here too.

It could of course have been a hoax... though, as Tri says, the naming of a real judge would have been audacious.

Fairly sure it's not a hoax as the latest decision just confirms the findings initially decided by HMRC over a year ago. This makes interesting reading:

    http://www.taxcounsel.co.uk/ImageLibrary/VCS.pdf

It would be surprising if the latest decision overturned all that! And I seem to recall reading on a forum earlier this year, that the 'final' legal decision was being made in May 2012. So the date ties in with what I was expecting to see as well. I wonder is S R-S is appealing this yet again as he hates the legal profession it seems - maybe he sent a legal threat to CAG to remove the latest decision pending yet another appeal?

Some people have more money than sense.

Oh, no, I didn't suggest the tax case was a hoax? I downloaded the judgment from the official site.

It's a question of whether the case quoted in post #1 here was true or a hoax.

I am at the end of my second year of 4.
I am doing a LLB with Criminology, sandwich 4 yrs.

I would hope that I am learning more than the basics, I would have hoped these would have been covered in my A-Level law or early in my 1st year.

Nice, if you really are there having your 'sandwich', oooooo you can aspire to be a CAB advisor then!

What are your rights when you enter a mobile phone contract?

Is it right for courts to grant super injunctions?

In what circumstances can someone be arrested and charged?

These are the sort of topics that you will discuss as part of your law course. You will learn about the key rules of English and European law and see how they develop from cases and government-made law. In some units you will focus on who makes the law and what influences them. The course also offers opportunities to put your developing legal knowledge into practice in ‘real world’ situations where you can perhaps choose to train to be a Citizens Advice Bureau adviser or a mediator.

You are not a law student, your posts make it obvious.

But I had a little look at the course you say you are studying, that's all. I like to take an interest. :)

Case appears genuine - I've seen the case number.
