My issues with Samba seem to have resolved themselves. Credit earned/used is showing correctly. And because I don't really use 3G much on my tablet my credit just keeps rising from the adverts - up to 2GB now. Would be useful to have a large bank of credit in the back pocket for that one-off time when I suddenly find myself without wifi access (for whatever reason).

Hopefully, Samba will still be around when that happens. The business model seems ropey, but maybe they get good commissions from advertisers and bulk buy data at cheap rates from Three, and so they're earning enough profit to sustain the business. Time will tell.

Samba is not Three - it runs over the Three network.
(Just like Tesco mobile runs over the O2 network.)

You can doubt what you like, but it's poor form to call me a liar just because you can't get it to work.

I would appreciate your taking this statement back.

About vanishing credit... I though it happened to me about three days ago. Then I had a good think about what I might have done differently (I installed a news feed widget), and I thought I'd keep an eye on the data. Now... I was pretty sure that yesterday I had around 160 MB of data, and I only watch ads when I drop under 100 MB. Today I have 190 MB... maybe that WAS a vanishing act I saw, and got reverted... Because it was 30 MB that I saw disappear.

Which bit of "You can doubt what you like, but it's poor form to call me a liar just because you can't get it to work." would you like me to take back?

You have repeatedly referred to me saying what my balance is as a "claim" of which you doubt the veracity: "I do not believe your claim unless you explain how." and "This is why I doubt your claim.".

In other words you do not believe that what I am saying is true, and therefore that I am lying.

You have also stated that you are finding it difficult to get credit and that you don't understand why.

In other words you can't get it to work for you.

So, you let me know which of the above are incorrect.

(P.S. My credit is now at 20.3 GB - I decided to back off earning it.)

I do not like to be accused of calling someone a liar when I did not. It would be easy for you to post - say, a screen shot - for example.

I have explained that I tried for four days to get more credit but always get the same ads which are "expired". Which part of that people do not understand I fail to comprehend.

Why should any poster who has provided useful input to the thread, post a screenshot simply to placate an eejit!

Ad hominem. Very good. I would like just enough credit to check my email but Samba shows the same ads again and again.

Maybe one day someone will understand what I am saying.

We understand. And what everyone else is saying is basically "works for me", which usually means there's something specifically wrong with your setup, so you should gather comparative data using different software, different computers (hell, even try your smartphone or tablet), and see what results you get.

I do not like to be accused in a repeatedly sceptical manner of "claim"ing something and being asked to provide a screenshot as proof.

I will make this statement: My Samba credit is now 20.4 GB; I have earned it all by clicking on adverts, the only time I paid money to Samba was for the SIM to fit the Three dongle I already had. (I don't recall if there was any initial "starter" credit on there, but it would have been a very small amount.)

So, simple question - do you believe that or not?

    Yes, or No.

If unequivocally "Yes", then I accept that what you wrote about claims and proof and so on may have been something badly put and open to misinterpretation.

If "No", then you are asserting that what I say is not believable, and thus something you consider to be untrue, or in other words a lie.
