  • A few more bits finish on ebay tomorrow so fingers crossed as we are at rock bottom this month. Screened out of about four mysurveys this morning, grrr.

Good news is weight is still going down 14-11 this morning, 5.04%, just hope i can keep focused, really hard when the children ask for buttery toast etc:D

  • Hi PWD, :T:T:T on your weight loss - go girl x x x

  • Morning, weight continues to go down (God bless the Newcastle Diet:D) 14-6 which is 7.34%, not long to go until 10%, yikes.
Once my eight weeks are up i'm going to try the 5:2 plan as a permanent way forward (if it works).

Right money, have just made my monthly call to the secured loan, and asked what will the interest rate change to when it comes off it's fixed period in Nov. Now it's too far in advance for them to give me the figures, letter due in Oct apparently, but the interest rate as at today's figures would collapse from current rate of 11.064% to 5.064% :j:j:j.
Now i need to go and work out what that means per month and if we can manage i'll leave the monthly payment as it is to get rid of the thing but we'll need to discuss:D.
    Still how wonderful is that!!

  • Morning, 14-3 today , i love this diet, well except for the fact i can't eat anything! So that's 8.72%.
Two weeks of the Newcastle Diet done and six to go, i just hope i can do it as the lure of cheese is very strong. Well that and chocolate, cheesy lasagne and chips, even just tea with milk and hot buttered toast:mad:, still it will be worth it!
Blood sugars have collapsed and that is the real target, they were over 11 two weeks ago and this morning were 4.1:j, so again a great result.

Money, well ebay going well today, so that should give me some cash to eek out until payday.
Trying to decide what next month's priority is oil (£640-ish) or a cooker (£350-ish). Now we NEED a cooker (well i don't, not eating:rotfl:) but everyone else does, only the hob working now. However if we don't get the oil soon it will continue to rocket up in price. Mind you DD starts school next month and will need shoes, trainers and hockey boots, so maybe hob cooking will have to continue for a while yet!

  • Just been to the post office with ebay parcels, a trip round the world, shoes to Australia, puffa to Austria, trainers to Estonia and then some to UK, anyway £66.83 profit, so if i don't get any hassle it'll have been worthwhile agreeing to the overseas sales:D.

Weight is 14-1, ohh so close to breaking the 13st barrier:o, 9.63% and my rings are getting loose! But ohh soo hungry / bored now.

Still undecided about the big ticket item for next month, DH gets paid tomorrow. So at least we can get the cars filled, running on fumes at the moment:eek:.

  • 14-0 this morning, confirmed by one of my rings flying off in Tesco:eek:, thankfully i found it!
Spent a small fortune on DDs school stuff, flipping shower cap etc!

DH paid today so £86.36 of diesel in my car, DDs odds and ends and cool hard cash:j:j.
His car finally booked in for an MOT and service, hopefully no more than £250, fingers crossed.
Oh and £3 from mysurvey and at £38.90 on onepoll - i can smell payout!

  • 13-13:beer: and blood glucose at 4.4 this morning.
Got blood results back from the GP, HB1AC was 61 (this must be the new system which i think converts to about 7 or 8) so happy enough as the bulk of this would have been pre-Newcastle.
On the day it was 4.5 which again is okay.
Cholesterol was 3.8 which i'm taking as pretty good, so all in all looks okay for only having been on the diet for less than two weeks when the bloods were taken.

Big money news is i've just got a £40 payout from onepoll :j:j:j:j. Have actually noted it in my diary so i can time how long it takes me to get to the next one!

DD cost nearly £100 today, new school shoes, trainers and hockey boots:eek:, terrified she'll grow out of them all by half term! Also think she needs another pair of school shoes, so will keep an eye on ebay, never mind home / casual or party ones or boots for the winter:(.

Think i have persuaded DH that a second hand cooker may be better than new when we can't afford it, again will be glued to ebay!

Time to go and look at the ironing:rotfl:
