This we can agree on
If peoples trolleys aren't in front of the fridge then they can't clear a shelf. Having to walk even a slight distance to your trolley means you are limited to getting what you can carry and more people will have a shot at getting something
I have no problem with moving a trolley, its the damaging of its contents or removal of contents I disagree withApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
I agree with everything you say in the context of good/bad manners. It IS rude to block, whoopsies SHOULD be shared but unless the store have a policy of "X number of whoopsied items each", or "£Y value of total whoopsies" then manners have little to do with anything.
You have the right to put your trolley where you want and you have the right to buy what you want. Other shoppers have the right to object but they have no right to take from your trolley
Any item in your trolley belongs to Tesco until you have paid for it so somebody removing an item from someone else's trolley is not committing a criminal offence but is just being rude. So, as you can see, manners have everything to do with it!0 -

Can I go back to the example of opening a packet of yoghurt in someone elses trolley in the hope of making a mess over their shopping?
Would that be bad manners or would that be criminal damage?Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

That would be criminal damage but I have only been arguing the case of removing items from someone's trolley and the importance of manners. Love, Perry Mason.
I am going now to sit in the sun and cut out mushroom, ice cream and Wenches coupons!0 -
As promised, a handful of pics from Wales. Weather was cloudy and dull apart from the journey there so left the camera in the car. Wales isnt too photogenic when you can't see half of it cos of the cloud!0

My post actually said her circumstances may or may not require her to live off whoopsies. My point being that it doesn't matter so we do agree that circumstances don't come into it
What we disagree on is the principle of "first come first served"

You have a very odd way of aguing your case!!!
First you say morals don't come into it then say its wrong to take from someone elses trolley! It's not actually theirs until they've paid for it.
Seems you want morality only when its convenient for you.0 -
