Maybe maybe not I am a stroppy mare at times especially when there is obvious greed involved
Good on you!!:T
a lady in sainbees had cleared the whoopsie shelf and had nothing else in her trolley apart from reductions, she left it by the chiller cabinet and wandered off.....another guy came along thought it was the whoopsie trolley and started helping himself!!:rotfl::rotfl:"He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin

Freezing mushrooms - I just wash them (if they need it), let them dry, slice them, bag them, put them in the freezer. Simples. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
I wouldn't usually have gone there, as obviously driving is out of the question but with the power cut and the noise from the road being dug up it seemed like a great idea
Shame I can't live a pure and chaste life like some, oh well never mind the same person will be doing the same thing again tonight.........
You're going back tonight to see if she's there again?!

I was the one who poured the yogurt, and I would do it again!
Whilst I can reason with both sides, I dont see why one shopper should have the right to grab everything in sight, whilst it is clear others would like something. Even if someone's circumstances are so dire, so too could be one of the other shoppers trying to get a look in, who would be happy with just one whoopsie, and not given the chance. I dont see how the poor CS assistant marking down the stuff could be expected to get involved (I think they are brave enough at whoopsie time).
Some people are totally greedy. If there was no-one buying the whoopsies, yes tip the lot in the trolley, but when there are others, it is civilised to share.0 -

Never had a problem with them being soggy - just make sure they are dry before you freeze them (assuming you have to wash them first) or they might be. Normally just bung them straight into an omelette or spag bol or the such. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Fancy meeting up in that store and we can quietly work as a tag team to distract her and pilfer stuff out of her trolley0 -
Oh nooooooo more bad stuff, O/H is sunbathing outside and he heard the ice cream man, he asked for a magnum and gave me £3 saying get yourself one, I went to the freezer got him a magnum and me a ribena lolly and gave him 50p change, good job he never looks in the freezer
Love it! He should have given you the 50p change for "going."
Freezing mushrooms - I fry them with chopped onions then I add a tin a chopped tomatoes, season and freeze in containers. This a good base for many sauces such as bolognese or lasagne but we also eat it on its own with spaghetti and cheese sprinkled on top.0
