Not sure if anyone has posted as haven't caught up from yesterday but last night I got 2 BBQ whoopsies for 70p each but Bogor kicked in taking original £3.50 off so all my whoopsie shopping came to £1.52 after mr t paid me to take most of it away!
Hope someone can find some tonight!0 -

-*-+I didn't need too, I dealt with it in my own way
Sad you felt the need to "rant" though
I'll admit I've been tempted to do the same as you. My conscience has always stopped me thoughNo, no its not its one slightly tipsy prank that is bad very very bad, I must be punished?
You don't need to be punished, i just don't think you should be getting applauded which is why I added my 2 cents worth. I thought this thread was all about open discussionFrench_Knickers wrote: »What a load of rubbish!!!!! Its people power at its very best.
Circumstances or not the woman was greedy and selfish and Miss Laid gave her a bit of 'karma'. Lovin it........well done ML.
Who is to say the woman was keeping it all for herself though? Maybe she'll distribute it around family and friends. Maybe she lost all her freezer stocks in a power cut and saw an opportunity to restock on the cheap. Maybe she's on the breadline.
Or maybe she's on 100k a year plus bonus, whilst scamming benefits on top of that and exclusively eats whoopsies in order to make herself even wealthier because she is so very greedy.
I'm sure people think I am greedy when I walk out a store with 100+ 1p items but i distribute it as far as I can at work and among friends (even to checkout staff and people in the queues). Does not knowing that I do that justify someone sneakily taking my trolley from me before I've even had a chance to pay? I would think not
Whoopsie shops, like any other shopping trips, are first come first served. If you aren't lucky to get anything then you are not justified to take from someone who didApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

Who cares what her circumstances are??? If there are other people in the store looking for a few savings then she has no right to take it all. END OF.0 -
aau98113, whilst I agree that nobody knows someone else's financial situation, that woman didn't know Miss Laid's either. I think it is very rude when people block the whoopsie fridge with their trolley and prevent anyone else from benefiting. Whoopsies should be shared, not snatched by one individual. Spread the love!0

When people do this I just wheel their trolleys out of the way and often send them off down the aisle lol.0 -

I agree, she was being selfish, who knows the circumstances of the other "whoopsiers" who maybe arn't as assertive as the woman in question, pensioners etc that are trying to eek out their meagre income...no one needs 40 pack of meats in one go...there's a lady that is at the whoopsy chiller every time I've been in...I suspect she is supplying the local chinese takeaway...."He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin

My post actually said her circumstances may or may not require her to live off whoopsies. My point being that it doesn't matter so we do agree that circumstances don't come into it
What we disagree on is the principle of "first come first served"aau98113, whilst I agree that nobody knows someone else's financial situation, that woman didn't know Miss Laid's either. I agree with everything you say in the context of good/bad manners. It IS rude to block, whoopsies SHOULD be shared but unless the store have a policy of "X number of whoopsied items each", or "£Y value of total whoopsies" then manners have little to do with anything.
You have the right to put your trolley where you want and you have the right to buy what you want. Other shoppers have the right to object but they have no right to take from your trolleyApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0
